Please make sure you know its best before is 2/12.
So knowing COTD shipping times, you may have to finish it all in just 1 day !!!

    • If it gets to you before the expiry then that would be a record delivery time for COTD.

Have you guys even tasted this ? LOL

    • Yeah, Haribo confectionery tastes pretty cheap & nasty.

I'm surprised it's been getting quite popular lately.. Aldi used to be the only ones who stocked it but now quite a few places do & I've seen it advertised quite a bit.

How is Haribo cheap and nasty? You can't tell me you don't like their gummy bears

        • I don't actually. Haribo gummy bears don't really have much of a taste at all hence why I made the 'cheap' comment - They're just like every other cheap generic gummy bear out there. (& that goes for most of their confectionery line tbh)

If you want a good gummy bear, try Trolli gummy bears. They explode with flavour and have a great gummy texture. The only problem is that I don't think they sell them here anymore because I haven't seen them in years.

Once you try a Trolli gummy bear, you'll understand why I don't like Haribo's gummy bears.

HARIBO is the premier brand of gumdrop/wine gum snacks in Germany (with Aldi stocked "Gummibaeren" their most popular product).

And just because the expiry date is set to 02/12 doesn't mean it's off and uneatable afterwards. The use-by date is a recommendation and is set very early so to minimize companies' responsibilities.
On this note: My boyfriend always cracks me up when he comes home late at night, looks in the fridge, finds a product with the use-by date being that day and then checks his watch if it's still before midnight. (Sadly I'm not kidding.)

no fruit was harmed in the making of these lollies!

oh and best before is not the same as use by, mixing up these terms is bad!

use by means a product cannot be sold as it may be harmful

best before means roughly after this date you can get degredation in taste, but its OK to eat

it could be colour change, odour, texture, consistency etc

having said all that I would not be too concerned, these are so processed I doubt you would notice

  • edit: wizard ^

this stuff is processed crap, it shouldn't have an expiry date. Enjoy!

  • Bought some of these from grocery run for $2.99 during the click frenzy.

  • Sorry Amazingprints, just saw you posted the link to the $2.99 ones.

i bought the Haribo coca bottles from Grocery run with expiry date in december and they are so hard! i can;t even eat them they are gross, they are meant to be soft gummies. Don't waste your money, Buy the fresher lollies.

    • They cant be any softer or they would have to be coated in sugar to hold them together to keep them together. They cant be any softer for the size that they are and the type of jelly they are, not physically possible. Haribo is one of the good brands along with Yupi/Trolli for jelly/gummi lollies.

  • at checkout is says "Invalid Coupon Code"
