    Hey… that's pretty decent for a 17" 1600x900 screen'd notebook, no?

    • Yes, I would say the price seems decent. But then again a 17" screen with just 1600x900 resolution doesn't really cut it any more these days. For me at least.

  • 1600x900… When will they learn?

    • Whats so bad about 1600x900? educate please.

      • Nothing particularly bad, but it's just inadequate, especially for a screen that size. You just can't fit enough information on the screen and low PPI means things don't look particularly sharp either. Well, it is better than the usual 1366x768 that you get with 15" screens. But for 17" it should be at least 1920x1080. And then there's of course MacBook Pros with their 2560x1600 for 13" and 2880x1800 for 15" screens, which just make everything else look so bad.

  • Its a terrific price, will be getting this over the dell deal.

  • Just a heads up, don't expect to do any decent gaming with the 6490M.

  • hey this is a good offering, work bought one of thee for $1100 bout 3 months ago. For $700 your not going to get a better 17" laptop than this.
    jabe they still got stock?
