100

Up to $1000 free brokerage over 3 months. A good deal if you trade a lot. Brokerage price is $14.95 for shares totaling up to $10,000 and $29.95 up to $27,227

MUST be a shareholder to take part in the deal, though it may be easy enough just to purchase a parcel of $500 NAB shares (ASX minimum) and subsequently sell all but a few and still be eligible.

Standard offer is 20 free trades over 90 days WITHOUT the need to buy NAB.

TBH I don't how many ozbargainers would use more than the 66 trades in 3 months… AND be willing to buy NAB shares at the moment!

      Snip.

  • Crap…make money and sell fine within 3 months BUT NAB makes money after 3months
    Go with CMCMARKETSstockbroking.com.au $10 under $10K unlimited!

  • NAB shareholder benefits generally requires a minimum 500 ordinary fully paid shares which is at today's prices is around $12,000 worth of shares. However this offer does not seem to be part of the standard shareholder benefits package and there is no mention of a minimum holdings in the terms and conditions. Looks like all you need to do is claim this offer is to just enter promotion code SHA1000 during the application process.

i'm more concerned with nabtrades need to constantly discount brokerage and beat the competition's "free months" trading. Seriously - if you are looking for a broker - cheapest isnt ever really the best. You can be assured that the other majors (albeit with higher brokerage) allocate alot more resources to development and stability.

Yes not the ozbargain way - but we arent buying usb sticks or itunes cards here.

The NAB offerings were just three stars, however I am unsure as to whether this was 'nabtrade' or some other NAB trade offering.

Also, for free trading (and a higher Canstar preference) you might choose https://onlineinvesting.westpac.com.au/ — it also contains two months free brokerage.
