Free gift makes it seem a bit sus. If it's air conditioned I might go later on.
Been to one before a few years ago, was just so-so.. There are some clearance items, like unpopular items or the odd sample or 1 - 2 pieces left forgotten in warehouse.. Last time I went it was bloody hot weather not much fun. I guess if you really need luggage check it out, if not then stay cool at home.

Just came back from the sale…..and it's actually really good. Samsonite stuff is about 70-80% off the retail price. None of this roping you in with "up to 70% off" and then Samsonite stuff is only like 10% off. There seems to be plenty of stock in the back, but no aircon as they're using one of their factory floors to display and sell luggage.
I digress though. In terms of specific deals, this is what I saw:

They've got laptop bags too, as well as some business stuff. The "last item" table was quite good too…..I picked up a suit bag for $45.
Most people there seemed interested in the Samsonite stuff mainly, but there is heaps of American Tourister gear available.
The free gift is a Samsonite triple combination lock. Also, all warranties are honoured as long as you keep receipts. So the 10 yr warranties you get on luggage are sweet.
So to sum up, I think it's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and if you're looking at investing in quality travel gear. Much better value than the Myer 40% off Samsonite stuff sales they hold quite often.
