  • I like smaller ones, gives me excuse to buy another fragrance :)

Finally, this almost never goes on discount.
    Thanks OP.

    • No problem. I was searching for their new fragrance and found this.
I got one as well, it's been a long time since I've used spice bomb fragrance.

Cheaper to buy 90ml from Discount Chemist.

  • I read this is more of a 'winter' scent.

I don't mind 1million in winter - would this in anyway compare to that?

Fully acknowledging 1million can be obnoxiously over the top.

Spicebomb is the same, even more so because of the spiciness. It can get really cloying and nauseating in summer.
Great for cool breezy summer nights but not in the middle of the heat IMO.

I'm in a temperature controlled office right now, wearing Spicebomb Extreme. I have to be mindful where I spray so I don't gas everyone out. Compliment-getter if done right.

      • Much appreciated. I tend to wear Mont Blac Explorer all year-round but would like to 'explore' new scents.

The problem with 1 million is that it smells great to the wearer, or in a closed room, because its quite complex close up.

But passong it on the street is more akin to fairyfloss in a paint booth.

Its this annoying mix of too complex upper notes and too simple basenotes.

Have a friend wear it for a night, while you don't, before you restock.

Everyones nose is different, but I think a lot were 'tricked' by how good it smells on a sample card.

      • That kind of sums up my impression of it. I really can't put my finger on it though. It's also almost too popular now and while it's recognized, it's possibly becoming too 'basic'.

        • Absolutely.
And due to those over-dominant basenotes, you can smell the same to a passer-by using Lynx Gold.

Any time Lynx starts cloning your scent, i assume its too mainstream.

    • Extreme is less warm.

Its also out of stock there, and is very cheap for a 90ml parfum, not EDT; not surprised they sold out.

  • I'd love to know if you have carried this through an airport.

  • Any of the fans used Suvage elixir and can offer a comparison ?
