I don't know much about these laptops apart from what I've read online in the last 20 minutes or so. Some rebranded thing?
Instore it said original price was $1997. Seems decent price for a 4060 laptop but then again I've never owned a gaming laptop I've just spent hours online thinking about owning one.

Seems ok, I'm guessing that "up to 6 hours battery life" actually means about 1-2hours :/
Looks a lot like a Clevo
Yeah, probably a Clevo - largest laptop ODM
it is a Clevo
I got the one on display from officeworks strathpine for $1317.00 a couple of weeks ago.
I'm happy with it and has a 2 year warranty.I think spec-wise, the Acer Nitro V 16 comes out on top.
EDIT: Might come down to cooling at the end of the day ( regarding TGP)
8000 series on the Acer versus 7000 on this. Not that it means too much overall really.
The 7735HS is Zen 3 architecture while the 8845HS is Zen 4 - so may be additional efficiency and performance gains on top of the tier of chip.
So basically get this if you want a half baked gaming PC / half baked portable laptop. At this price you can't complain…
Does that make one fully baked something?
Buy two and you get a fully-baked machine!
FYI I didn't think the screen looked that bright in the store. I tested it by turning it up to max with the buttons on the keyboard. Maybe there's a better way though…
Personally I would go for either of the two options below from reputable well know brands for just a little extra….

wow the lenovo looks so sexy from the behind.
what is that "FURTHER $100 OFF INSIDE" ? edit : code BDAYGAMER
hmm even with $100 off plus 10% off TRS this is still out of my budget :(edit
1x USB-C (USB 10Gbps / USB 3.2 Gen 2) — not usb 4 like acer nitro v 16
i wish its 16" FHD (1920 x 1200) IPS display with a 165 Hz refresh rate.Agreed, I had a look at the Lenovo at centrecom today it's nice looking and screen seemed brighter.
i just want this in a smaller screen. 14 inch please.
like this? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/355837125853?
