  • They are awesome tablets, very good value as well and will be Blackberry 10 compatible, highly recommended.

shame the company won't exist soon…

Couldn't be further from the truth actually, Blackberry 10 launches in Feb, major apps will be available on BB10 and the dev alpha devices look amazing. Despite it's current state Blackberry user database still grew by 2 million people in the last quarter, they are the number 1 phone is many many countries, just struggle in Australia but Blackberry 10 should put them back on the map. RIM's share price has rallied recently with all the news and Blackberry 10 demos and announcements. A bonus this Playbook will be upgradable to BB10 as well, a great tablet.

rubbish, RIM they won't be around next Christmas. ike Commodore, iRiver, Betamax, rambus, etc they're gone. As for being awesome tablets, can they do anythig useful without an expensive & sloooooow Blackberry plan?/

You cheated in this argument by using facts. I understand why someone negged you. Not fair play man. Stick to uninformed opinions next time.

        • Slow isn't a word to describe BIS and monthly plans with Voda etc are no more expensive than Iphone/Galaxy etc plans.

        • Lol :)

        • shame the company won't exist soon…

IIRC people were saying that last Xmas too! ;)

  • totally ERRONOUS! another reason why "Don't believe everything you read on the Internet",, ahhhh Gold Comedy above, lol!

I had one of these for 2 months, then gave up waiting for any android market or android app port and moved on.

DONT buy this tablet if you're hoping for a full android experience.

DO by this tablet if you're happy with just browsing the net, reading emails and only wanting to access the Blackberry appstore (disappointing selection, mostly full of $5 ebooks).

The screen is pretty good though, so is battery life and the OS experience is really smooth. Just know what you're getting, so you wont be disappointed.

    • Another HP TouchPad…

  • How do they keep finding stock of these?

    • They are not finding stock.
I guess these are returns from customers claiming warranty and such.

Sorry, but $188 for a "Refurb" 16GB 7inch Tab with last gen processor is no deal.

    • It's a rid off!

Comparing to Nexus 7, $188 may be considerable if NEW. But not for second hand

  • Yeah there are better deals around, you can get a new 16gb for $179 or less without looking very hard, and there have been 64gb for $199 deals in the past :)

  • can we watch movies on the playbook?
