I saw this one over the weekend instore and being the true ozbargainer that I am, I bought it on the spot. (This would be my 2nd 3rd 4th bluetooth speaker? who is counting anymore)

At $129, this is extremely overpriced. It looks it would have decent base with its exposed sub, but its nothing outstanding. Overall it sounds like a small speaker getting loud, rather than a large speaker. Fidelity at lowish volumes are actually not bad, but nothing to write home about. I would say the sound quality is similar to the recent $60 Wonderboom that was posted recently.

It has Type C, 3.5mm and IPX7. For $39, not a bad purchase at all.

  I've collected too many portable speakers, cheap to expensive. I need a bigger place to store all of these speakers. With the sky high rent and house prices, I'll stick with the infamous smash avocado and toasts.

  Bought one from Officeworks a few weeks ago for this price. Sound would best be described as "Meh" - not great, not bad. Maybe on the better side for a $40 speaker, definitely not worth $129.

  No multi-connect, and no way to control pairing mode - every time you turn it on it's in pairing mode, so whichever device connects to it first wins.

  They do apparently support a mesh mode where you can link multiple of them together and they all play the same thing. If they weren't out of stock at my local Officeworks I might have bought another one to try that, but given you need to manually link them each time I'm not sure it'd be that useful anyway.
