  • Are you able to confirm the decaffeination method for this one? I couldn't see anything on the website. Cheers

    • Hi @generalpayne,

It is sugar cane decaffeination process.

Our website has just been updated to reflect this.

      Thanks :)

      • Thank you for confirming :)

  • Out of curiosity, is there any valid reason to care about single origin?

Would my bread taste any better if the wheat grains all came from the same farm? Or in the case of your coffee beans the same state? Huila has diverse climates and over a million people - that is your "single origin"?

    • Hi @bargaino,

Good questions - I guess in this instance it is to differentiate it as a single bean product, as opposed to a blend (of which there are some part-decaf blends out there on the market)

I appreciate the point you have shared :)

    • Personally, when I buy single origin beans, it is for the purpose of taste. I make both pour over coffee with a filter, as well as espresso based drinks. When I feel like having filter coffee, single origin beans tend to taste better and more pronounced with fruit flavours (depending on the variety). Blends make this more difficult. When I'm making milk based coffees, I can barely taste the difference, especially since I do one bag at a time. SO gives me the flexibility to enjoy both pour over and espresso coffees.

  • Is there any information on what percentage of caffeine is left in the beans?

    • Hi @mj7312,

We don't have a specific % figure for the remaining caffeine in the beans, but it would be a trace amount left and not entirely 0%.

      I hope that helps :)
