[PC, Steam] Batman Arkham Collection $12.74 (85% off), Watchmen: The End is Nigh $3 (60% off) @Steam

460

Arkham Asylum + City + Knight + Season Pass. It's not a true bundle though, so you want get a discount if you own some of the titles already.

Watchmen The End is Nigh is also worthy of mention, the base game + Part 2, for $4.35 (70% off): https://store.steampowered.com/sub/13011/

Gotham Nights and K1ll the Justice League are also on sale, but many people dislike those games.

I'm a bit behind on the DC Universe; the last Graphic Novel set in Gotham City that I read was "The Joker War" from late 2020, when the Joker loses an eye and Punchline plays a prominent role.

  • Whats a season pass?

    • -3

Its where you have a season, and then it passes. Hope this helps.

Season pass is basically your access to any post-launch DLCs that a specific game will offer. It MAY also include any current or planned DLCs that might not get launch at all.
We will need to thank Rockstar for starting such a trend in gaming, not sure for the better though.

A disgraceful sales tactic that is slowly dying out.

        Yep.
But being replaced with the new strategy of games effectively released as beta software.

Full of bugs and lacking content

Can't go wrong with the Arkham games, quality series (granted Asylum will always be my favourite)

Asylum changed how we look at superhero games for the better. Excellent game!

    • Other ones were no good?

      • They improve graphically and such. But (for me) the more open worldness of City and Knight - detracts from the overall game play experience. The story in Asylum is much more contained and having the game take place in a smaller confined environment is better. I also felt (due to the open world-ness and being able to do tasks in no real order) the story was a bit out of place as a result.

There's not too much wrong with City and Knight, I'm just one that usually prefers the game (or movie - eg: Terminator 2 may have revolutionised the movie blockbuster…. but the original Terminator had the better story and atmosphere) that started it all rather than the sequels.

Fair enough. I realized when I was playing The Last of Us Part 1 on PC through the other night that I also like that style of game. Something that appears open but is on rails but has enough flexibility to do an objective different ways (mostly).

arkham city cover art is so hard even to this day

A reminder I should finally start these games I bought YEARS ago :(

I've already got Asylum & City GOTY - and this bundle is still $12.74 (Back in the day, they'd adjust the price)

So I bought this instead, to complete the collection cheaper: Batman: Arkham Knight Premium Edition: $8.54

  • Will this ever be free?

At least twice so far on Epic iirc
