You can have mine they are complete rubbish, the noise cancelling is poor, sound quality is on par with a 99 cent pair of buds from ebay.

    • +1, I received these as a gift and it is as good as a piece of paper - Absolutely hate them.

Typo? It is the MCR-NC7 and not MDR-NC70 as per your title. Price is pretty ordinary.

    Reviews from Amazon.com

They will make your ears warm and maybe a bit sore if you wear them for too long but they aren't uncomfortable. ”

If I by noise canceling headphones in the future, I will definitely A) try them first, and B) not buy another Sony product. ”

    Maybe I'll skip :)

    • I too have also read a lot of very ordinary or bad reviews for these headphones.

I have to say though, their mid-ranged Noise Cancelling earphones are pretty good. I've had a pair of MDR-NC22B's for over 7 years and still going. The noise cancelling still works, but not as good as the current generation of MDR-NC33B's. I just recently ordered the MDR-NC100D from Video Pro for $148.50 delivered.

If these are the entry level ones, then yes they are fairly terrible.
