Looks like a good deal. Each one would be $21.37.
Downside is that it has US plug. You may use pliers to make it Aussie (not recommended!).
Judging from my C100, and C210 cameras, it supports ONVIF and could work locally if you enable it (means no need to be connected to the internet). Personally, I use it with Blue Iris NVR (not using the official app since it's not connected to the internet).
I think it's alright for an indoor usage where you don't have poe around.
Be aware that it's still using old Wifi 2.4GHz.

Also 1-pack of C100 (not C110, 1080p) is $27.09 which isn't a bad price, especially considering that the lowest price for the AU plug version was $32 according to CCC.

Just remember if you're doing 2.4ghz, and have other parts in the house relying on that old one, four cameras on it is going to use a good chunk of that available bandwidth.

    • That's a good point. It’s not an issue for me, but it could be a concern if using all four cameras 24/7 with an NVR on a generic modem. My C210 uses about 85 Kbps of bandwidth in a static scene.

      • How do you get the stream out from these cameras?

        • It's onvif compatible.

You can use it with Android app tinycam

          • @edrift: Rtsp?

            • @furythree: Nah I don't think it does rtsp

Onvif is the new standard anyway

              • @edrift: i use rtsp for tinycamviewer pro

so i can stream multiple brands of ip cameras into a singular app that runs relatively light

is Onvif similar as rtsp? how do you add it to tinycam viewer?

        • @bbtlovebbt I forgot the exact menu in the app since I'm not using it. It is not activated by default. You need to go into the app, activate it by setting a username/password (e.g. admin/admin :D). Optionally, then you can disconnect it from the internet e.g. by using a firewall rule and ditch the app.

    I just noticed that 1-pack is $27.09 which isn't a bad price

Note: that's the C100, which is only 1080p. Your deal post is for the C110 which are 2K.

    • Good catch & thanks - edited.

  • Those US plugs are deal breaker :(

  • These arent weather proof right? What if u put them under eaves and get droplets of water

    • +2

I've had mine under the eaves for maybe 6 months and it's been fine.
I used electrical tape over the SD card slot and the speaker and mic holes

      • ah thats a super smart idea

        cheers

      • guessing you're not going for hi-fi twoway audio then?

        • Nah just purely monitoring the backyard

        • How often do people use these security cams for two-way conversing? And when they do, do they really need hi-fidelity audio?

Also Tapo C325WB is $97.02 on Amazon US.
It’s $135 on Bunnings and Amazon AU.
