Airline Seatbelt Style BELT Buckle with Bottle Opener - OzBargain Special $15 Free Post

50

Here's an interesting Christmas gift idea that I'm sure the receiver won't already have.

It's a Belt looks and feels exactly like a real airline seatbelt and the buckle also doubles as a bottle opener. :)

I created a new listing for this because eBay would not allow me to to add "Best Offer" on my old listing.

This is a special exclusive for OzBargain subscribers at only $15 delivered.
To get it at this awesome price simply do the following:

  • Click "Make Offer"
  • Enter price of $15 and Submit.
  • I will accept this offer.
  • Complete checkout and please also tell me which colour you would like: Black or Blue.

I'm a GST registered business: 82 733 589 194

I guess thats one way Alan Joyce can increase Qantas revenue…

Will an attractive/ugly attendant come check the belt later? :)

  • Ew. Enough said

I assume there is a reason there is no photos of someone actually wearing it.

    I love it.

  • Free at the end of your flight. Just bring a pair of scissors (if you can sneek then through secrity.) :p

    • +3

You don't always need scissors! Last time I flew BA the seatbelt came detatched from the chair as I was putting it on.

do you have seatbelt belt extenders for those fatter oz-bargainers?

    • +3

Yeah, combine it with one of the pizza or doughnut offers.

  • Why would you want to feel like you are wearing an airline seat belt?

      It's for the plane junkies.

  • Hey I just bought one but didnt ask me what color I wanted?

    FYI, I want BLUE ONE!

    under buyer name Pva_glue

    thank you

    • Thanks hongas.
I will send the Blue one out to you today :)

      • I want a black one ! So in case you get a black one and I get a blue one, we can swap.
        I know - black = economy, blue = business.

The cool stuff is, when on a plane, and the F-Attendant comes and check seatbelts, you're set ready to go !

If you die in a crash, the NTSB will takes years trying to figure out how you managed to thread the seat belt into pants.

        • cameldownunder,
          Thanks for your purchase.
I posted a Black one out to you this afternoon.

        • I guess it is fair to say "I don't care" in this case :-)

  • Back in the mid-90's I remember people used to steal them off planes, there was some way of unhooking/unclipping them from the chair.

      Those guys were the coolest.

      Another word, dickheads.

I guess you missed the sarcasm.

  • Make one for kids and I'd get one for sure, I think 26" would be a bit big for a seven year old. (not for the bottle opener, but because it's easy for a kid to clip and unclip)

Do you also have demonstration life vests repurposed as singlets? It's not only the whistle that'll attract attention!

Ladies, as you can see, my belt is fastened low and tight across my lap. To release the belt, just lift the buckle. Make sure you release your own belt buckle before helping others.

  • would you provide tax invoice with the purchase?

    thanks

    • I can provide a tax invoice with the package upon request. Alternatively you can print off a tax invoice from ebay which includes my ABN number and states that GST is included.

  • do the same with a car seatbelt.

I have a really cool 1986 mitsubishi magna seatbelt belt.

Let me tell you, it does get the chicks.

    • Thanks for the idea :)

    • Let me tell you, it does get the chicks.

Gets 'em right in the gag reflex, I'm guessing.

  • Would need an extender …

  • Man, this would look sooo cool, to hold up those 2 sizes-too-big tracky dacks, 'specially, if one tucks in the flanny
