TAKE2

All orders packed, final 6 straggler units left, restocked

Another 20x units just turned up at the store - RESTOCKED!

Hi Ozbargainers,

Another quick deal tonight as I am snowed under with work and regular orders. Hayfexo has been the Ozbargain anchor for over 4 years. Like clockwork in September and October the orders nearly break the internet, thanks to great Ozbargain support we're able to order this item by the pallet and because of our constant large ordering the suppliers have keep pricing very reasonable for us over the years. While the shorter dated Ibuprofen keeps rolling into our store (with the obligation on me to clear it) , I'm getting a few messages from Ozbargainers asking to ease up on it a little for a few deals - so tonight I am offering our best seller (Hayfexo) with Paracetamol Rapid Release as the bonus!

Item: 140x Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 180mg (Hayfexo) + Bonus 20x Paracetamol Rapid Release
Price: $27.99 (after code)
Delivery: Free
Code: TAKE2

These bulk deals are still powering along as well:
140x Cetirizine + 140x Loratadine + 140x Fexofenadine https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/866620

@jason101 is there a reason why the foil strips come outside the cardboard box?

    • +4

To flat pack them to save on postage

      • Fair enough. Seemed like on my previous order they really didn't need to lol.

        • +1

Depends on the order value and the size of the package. For a lot of things it makes sense to skin the boxes and flat-pack so it can be sent as a Large Letter via post. Once you reach a certain size, though, even when flattened it’s still too big and must be sent by parcel post. At that point, size and shape don’t matter as much so there’s no benefit to skinning the boxes any more. The cost difference between the two is close to $10 or more, which really helps on low margin sales like this.

          • @Chazzozz: Agree on that it would be quite a massive cost saving.

As a recommendation / suggestion to the website, it's probably worthwhile advertising that it might come deskinned.

I'm usually pretty yolo, but was a bit weird / disconcerting getting the medication unboxed from a unknown website lol - but admit it was my first time ordering medication online

Just perfect timing, after a day in the garden I dived into the bottom drawer and noticed my old ones expired six months ago.
I literally said to my wife "just hang on for a bit, he often posts a deal on ozb on a Sunday evening" :)

just use them….. lol so much wastage XD

      • +1

Yeah tbh I did pop one earlier and it seems to be working just fine…

Keep them in the fridge might last longer.

I got smashed by hayfever today in Sydney.

Are tables or the nasal sprays more effective?

I took a Lorastyne thismorning but was still hit the worst I've been in years.

    • I find I used to have to change pills every year.

Though I've been good with cetirizine for the last few

    • +1

I had it BAAD last year, much like today honestly, and the pills didnt really help.. again much like today.

Gave Rhinocort a try and wow, life changer. I remember the chemist say to not always use it, only when it gets bad, and then wean off it.

Gonna pick a bottle up tomorrow, jesus today was horrendous.

    @jason101
What’s your expiry date of the 100 pack of the Loratadine 10mg)?
    https://pharmacysavings.com.au/products/100x-lorazol-loratad…

    • I'm interested to know the expiry on these as well. I'm basically going to buy whichever has the latest expiry

      200x Cetirizne 200x Cetirizine @ $19.99
      200x Lorazol, Loratadine 10mg @ $19.99

I have 10,000 boxes incoming - as soon as they land a deal will follow.

  • Any deals on generic Mylanta tablets or whatever they’re called?

  • Ahh my favourite Ozbargainer! Thank you Jason for saving me from many ruined hayfever days

    Say no to drugs. 💉

  • Emailed you, hoping to get a bundle

    Hey mate,

Any chance you can put together a first aid kit? Pain killer, bandaid, antiseptic, bandages.. etc

  • How does this compare to Zyrtec n other mainstream ones?

    • Same.

    • +1

The same active ingredients. Zyrtec is just a brand name for ceterizine, much like Panadol is just paracetamol and Neurophen is just ibuprophen. It’ll work the same at less than half the price.

    • +1

But you can still buy multiple packs?
How does that rule/law change actually make any difference

    • +1

It’s a placebo legislation designed to make an appearance of increasing safety. If there was a new law in place reducing the allowable size of a box of handgun cartridges does that make them any less lethal or dangerous? Or only allowing kitchenware stores to sell blunt knives? As stated above, making the packs smaller doesn’t stop someone from walking into a grocery store and buying them two at a time (which is sufficient to cause major harm or death in the average-sized person anyway).

    • I'm struggling to think why you think a pack of 20 Paracetemol is such large quantity?

Even the TGA release you linked limits it to 50 from a pharmacy without the supervision of a pharmacist.

And pharmacysavings.com.au is actually a pharmacy.

  • @jason101 - just a heads up that your link to the bulk 140x3 deal is missing a trailing "0" in the url.
    Should be https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/866620 i think?

    • Thanks - fixed.

  • How is this compared to Telfast 180? exactly the same?

    • +1

Yes, same active ingredient, different brand name on the box.

  • Oops OOS!

  • Patiently waiting for my last order to arrive from a couple of weeks ago..

    • Typical delivery is 10 working days from posting (dispatch confirmation email).

  • Another 20x units just turned up at the store - RESTOCKED!

    • Thanks OP bought some :)
