Well drunkenslug is an indexer, so your still going to need drunkenslug. This is a provider on the Abavia backbone.

@Noppy: I know people keep quoting backbones and strict one subscription provider per backbone.
But the 5-10 year old content I've been struggling to acquire the popular providers on all 6 backbones have missing almost or all articles
But then another small..small provider on the same backbone with more modest quoted 3000 days has the missing articles." dcma" disappeared those article's on the high profile ones is one possibility.
But i also suspect another factor is the retentions quoted as 5000 days is really new stuff today can be sought 5000 days from today
We started operating 2000 days ago , so we index none the articles you want from 3000 days agoSo i ended up with multiple block accounts on equal backbones to get most of the missing content. Once I'm finished one backbone with multiple sized brands big and niche will probably do just fine for everything in a 365 day range.
I've personally found the quoted rentention days fairytale, and the same backbones different providers read and find the articles differently, so every provider if every backbone is generally unique.
@cski: I'm of the same opinion. I've got 3 blocks and a frugal sub from last years black friday most things eventually get found for me. I completely disregard quoted retention numbers.
@Noppy: I personally find the more important things to consider is
*Age/ length providers has been operating
*Country of operation
*mixture of dcma, eu removal policy.
* indexers nzb files seem to correlation to the backbone nzb site x all articles often are on eweka and 100% fail on newshosting
Site y complete reversal
*therefore the indexer you choose is important to match the backboneOnce I'm finished one backbone with one big and niche brand will probably do just fine and make sure your one favourite nzb indexer is paid to it.
@Noppy: the thing is, that's text retention. dor binaries it depends on on if they've been DCMA'd. somethings are only up for hours ;-)
Max. 100 connections with servers in US and EU is nice. Whats the limits on the family plan? If this is 80% maybe it could be cheaper.
