Hi Rep, will these arrive in time for christmas?

    • Hi KateMorgan86,
We can definitely get it sent before Christmas if the orders are confirmed within this week all through to Tuesday. But I can only say with certainty if you live within the metro areas?
      Hope it helps!

What's a Garmont Travel Took Kit made up of? I searched your site for "travel tool kit" and found nothing, and googling it just shows you've posted this to a bunch of other bargain sites.

    • +1

      Hi Tanryl,

The toolkit is a handy LED Flashlight, a magnetic toolkit with assorted drill heads along with an easy snap shut case for all the little pieces. The size is slightly bigger than a highligher, its quite a compact and handy little gadget to have :)

There is a picture of the tool kit in the second link provided by the rep.
This is a good price for hiking shoes, they are normally $100+ for a good pair

    • Those were totally different links to specific pairs of shoes when I posted :P

The "$19 RRP" tool looks like this sub-$6 delivered item.

I'm curious about the neg. Apart from the colour, they look identical to me. Does someone disagree?

I noticed you added to the bottom of the deal that these shoes run in a narrow fit so buy 1/2 a size larger. I had already purchased 2 pairs of shoes after you added this comment. Can you adjust my order please? Transaction refernce 041305

    • Hi doowhydiddi,

Yes I can definitely adjust it for you right now :) Thanks for shopping with us!~

I'm assuming the free toolkit will come with the purchase, thought it was going to show during checkout. Buying a pair of Zenith Trail for my overseas adventure.

    • Hi Johnny-Kun,

You're right, the tool kit will come as a separate package and I'll bet that it will come in pretty handy in your adventures :) Thanks for your enquiry and hope you enjoy shopping with us!

Looks like a great deal, bought a pair of the GTX, signed up as a member, went through checkout, put in the CC details, noticed the advice only to click once…clicked once, waiting for a while and …..website crashed, no idea if I've bought a pair or not.

This store has very good customer service. If you ring them they will be able to help. I called the phone number on the invoice and they gave me the right contact number for the head office

      • Thanks KateMorgan86 :)

    • Hi there 2ndeffort,

Thanks for shopping with us! If you would give me your order number I'll confirm to see if the order went through. Very sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Thanks for that, the only email I received was the one confirming that I had signed up to the website. I can log in to the site but cant find any account history etc to see the order number. I'm thinking it didnt go through?

        • Hi 2ndeffort,

Thanks for that, I understand your issue now. Would you be able to reply my PM and I can check our system that way :) Thanks for shopping with us again!

    Hi Rep,

I am at Melbourne CBD area. If I order today when do you think I can get my shoes? I am looking at the Keen Venice h2 as well as this one.

    Thanks.

    • +1

      Hi JTMLY,

If you're within the Melbourne CBD we usually get the parcels in within the day. Just to be safe I would give it 3 days to get to you :)

Ordered 2 pairs. Quick response (here and Facebook). Thanks.

hi rep, I have received my pair of zenith trail gtx size 11. I ordered half size larger based on the online discussions but have found them to lift at the heel. Would half size down rectify this or would they then be too tight across the toes. Or will they stretch to accomodate? I have already requested a RAN. Also if I do exchange any chance you would throw in the travel gizmo.
    thanks

    • Hi friedlice,

Thanks for shopping with us! I apologise for the wrong fit, when the RA number is arranged I'll have the Travel Toolkit sent to you too. Could I grab your order number just in case? So I can follow up on this later on.

hi rep, my order number is 417773. However still waiting for RAN. Thanks

        • Hi friedlice,

I have just resent the email with your RA number with it. From our records it says it was sent yesterday at 10.27am.

We already have your replacement pair put on hold so you won't have to worry about stock running out :)

          Thanks, Escape 2

        • Hi Rep,

Thanks, just checked my email, it went to my junk mail!!
According to the note at the bottom of the deal, it did mention that that shoe is a narrow fit and that consumer's should get half size larger.
This is obviously what has happended in my case but after trying on the size 11 it was too big. I am usually a size 10.5, so this statement I feel is misleading.
What was a great $60 buy is now costing me more to replace.
Would you kindly consider waivering postage when I reorder the 10.5?
          Looking forward to your reply.

        • Hi friedlice,

Thanks for your reply, I have just sent you the return details to both your emails. Thanks again for shopping with us and hope you have a great day!

So is the sizing on your site pop down selection thing US or UK? Maybe you should stick that on the site as a buyer would assume UK unless stated otherwise.

    • Hi wfdTamar,

We use US sizing on all the brands. There is a sizing chart next to each product that might help :)
      http://www.escape2.com.au/html/GarmontSizeChart.html

      Escape 2

      • +1

Yes I did see the chart, but you don't actually say on the shoe page that the sizes listed are US - which might be a good idea to do as standard sizes in Australia are UK.

Also it'd be nice to have a shot of the sole pattern.

        • Hi wfdTamar,

I apologise but we do not have images with the sole of the product. We do however have video reviews on the blog page at:
          http://escape2online.wordpress.com/

          Thanks for your enquiry

Good deal! just bought a pair of Garmont sticky beast for my wife.

  • I just received my shoes today, bought a pair 1/2 a size up as recommended and its a bit bigger than expected. A size 10.5 would have fitted me perfect….plus I never received the free toolkit as well.

I'm not angry considering I paid $59 for a good deal but annoyed that the shoe size is bigger because:
    - Your statement "Garmont shoes have a narrower fit, so for those with a normal to wide foot it will be a good idea to go 1/2 size up"
    - I didn't receive the toolkit

    • Hi Johnny-Kun,

I apologise for the size, its really very difficult to generalize how a shoe should fit the feet but based on the feedback we had from customers we generally stick to the 1/2 size up advise.
As for the returns, my only concern is the time it will take to get the returned shoes to you. Could I trouble you and ask if you can send me a quick email on [email protected] and I'll take it up from there. There are a few more details I need from you to make sure I'm looking at the right order. Thank you for your patience with us.

The Toolkit has been sent to you in a separate package. It should be reaching you very soon!

    I bought a pair of:
Garmont Zenith Trail GTX - these are reasonably normal fit (normal across the ball) so I don't think people need to go half a size up on them.
Garmont Dragontail LT - these are pretty narrow at the front (across the ball of the foot). so you might get the half size up for them (I wish they had US 13.5 as the 13 I got are a tad short. I have a pair I got ages ago (made in Hungary) that are 12.5 and they fit so I'm hoping for a bit of give.

2 pairs = $100 = free shipping (and fast). Seem good quality, certainly worth $50.
