Tried all 3 of my eBay accounts none of them got the offer. I give up on eBay entirely. It will now be Aliexpress, Amazon and Temu from now on. So long eBay, you suck

I was surprised at the value I get from the ebay plus membership. I can't figure out how it makes sense for them tbh
I was initially surprised at the value from this - until I realised most sellers are charging a few dollars more on cheap items compared to Amazon, and Ebay is spending their Marketing/PR budget on essentially subsidizing the difference in some cases.
Without enough users their website slowly decays to nothing and this keeps it running longer.
I guess for as long as eBay's marketing subsidy lasts I'll keep up the membership. My usual best price hunt goes aliexpress -> amazon -> eBay, with eBay winning occasionally. In terms of customer acquisition costs, maybe eBay plus is cheap for them. Our views are probably also skewed because we're members of the ozBargain community, we're a particular type of consumer
any tips in 'brute force' targeting this eBay plus $10 offer?
I have an unutilized old eBay account. I recall seeing this email offer but it is now expired.

Anyone still looking, my page said "30 day free trial", which I clicked anyway.
On the next page, it said "you've had a free trial before but here's a new offer", and that offer was $10 first year.
No dice for me :(

Click the my membership and start trial on the top and bottom start trial links and both asking $49 bean for the year and $4.99 for4 a month.
Ahh well, will post back and continue seeking a deal even if it means waiting a couple of months or onward. Fingers crossed 🤞
