    you have to buy two…

If you mean a kettle and a toaster, then yes, you have to buy 2. That the point of the deal my friend.

  • What makes them smart? Do they connect to your wifi so you can watch you-tube clips while waiting for water to boil or toast to cook?

My wife bought one without my knowledge QQ

      Here's the toasting process-
      1- insert bread
2- press toast button and it automatically goes down (slowly) and starts toasting
3- press look button and it slowly slides all the way up and down
4- after its finished toasting and gone up press little bit more and it goes in and toasts for a few more seconds then comes up

So the two features are LED indicator and motorised mechanisms.

Overpriced and useless functions IMO, it toasts bread just fine like every other toaster I've ever used.

i'm buying one of those smart toasters (BTA830), anyone in melbourne after the smart kettle?

i can buy it, and we can split the $50 cash back.

    • That's the spirit! :D

  • How much do these retail for? I have a feeling my kmart $9 kettle and $12 toaster will still work out cheaper

    • A quick search shows about $100 for the kettle and $130 for the toaster. Almost any other brand would work out cheaper it seems.
