Says its 'Easy installation', does this mean we can install it ourselves (ie without an electrician, just plugging it into a GPO wall outlet)? or is it an easy installation for sparky's?

    • Hi.
Unfortunately because it is 240V it has to be done by an electrician but it comes all assembled and ready to install making it easy job for a sparky to put up.

      Cheers

Maybe soon we can change the lighting circuits in houses to 12v, then we could DIY

      • Travis - you said the right thing, but i think most people would just do it…it's really not that hard !

Thanks rep - I've been looking to replace an old sensor light for quite a while.

Fwiw, my personal view is 60W (even with the light of a 75W) is too dim for most outdoor applications.

    I got the Bunnings 2 x 150W sensor light for $20
    http://www.bunnings.com.au/products_product_nelson-security-…

    • i have that in my house, but its the ugliest light you can have, gonna replace it with something soon :)

    • got the same Nelson lights, dead easy to wire up!
ps to be fair, this is a spotlight, to light up a small area like a walkway, door etc the Nelson is a floodlight, covers a whole driveway etc

  • then how much shipping>?

    • Hi erwinsie

All orders over $100.00 ship for free.
If it is under that they are usually between $10 and $12.00

      Cheers

  • rep do you have any dual lights on sale?

  • Speaking of dual lights, what's a decent brand? I want to put the dual lights with sensor around the outside of the house. Yep, I've seen those cheap Nelson ones at bunnings - but they look pretty cheap.

What's a decent brand / model to use? Are they economical?
