  • Hi rep, can you confirm that Darwin NT is eligible for free shipping?

I note in your terms that you state:

Prices include delivery fees, except for rare cases in certain rural areas of Australia

    Which is pretty vague…

    • I've sent you a DM to get your postcode and suburb. We can offer free-shipping to 95% of our customers. In some areas, shipping costs more than the mattress itself. If you are requested to pay shipping at checkout, it is only to cover the cost price of the mattress+shipping.

    • I am in rural Tasmania and it is showing free shipping here,

  • What are the reviews like on those? I was eyeing a sleeping duck mattress but those are slightly cheaper.

  • +1

“Free delivery Australia-wide” seems less vague?

    • We offer free shipping to 95% of Australia, but in some rural or remote areas, shipping costs can exceed the mattress price. If you're in one of these areas, our checkout will let you know, and you can either proceed with the order, and we’ll follow up with the shipping cost, or contact us first for a quote.

For example, shipping to parts of the Outback can cost over $1,000, while most of our king mattresses are currently priced at $550–$900. In these cases, we only charge enough to cover shipping, with no profit made.

We know this isn’t ideal, but we’re doing our best to make our mattresses accessible to everyone while staying transparent about costs.

  • Which one is the hardest

    • +2

Go with Onebed Original for a firmer mattress, it's on the firmer side of medium-firm.

If you want a really firm mattress, go for Onebed Modular and select firm.

  • Really comfortable and firm. Good night sleep on these

    • Thanks a lot for your kidn comment :)

      • The mattress are top notch.

  • Hi Rep, Which is firmer Mattress?

    • Go with Onebed Original for a firmer mattress, it's on the firmer side of medium-firm.

If you want a really firm mattress, go for Onebed Modular and select firm.

  • what is the difference between original and X ?

    • The Onebed X features a softer, pillow-top style feel with a bouncy, soft top layer that transitions into a medium-firm feel—leaning more towards medium than firm.

The Onebed Original offers two options: a firm latex top layer that’s bouncy yet firm, or a memory foam top layer with the classic slow-rebound, non-bouncy feel of traditional memory foam.

      • ok thanks, so the X is not adjustable?

        • That's correct, only the Onebed Original and Onebed Modular are adjustable.

  • Anyone used these? Look cheap and nasty, plus a few reviews stating stay away, no support, sagging etc

    • I don't know, Product review seems to rate these well

or do they incentivise for reviews is that why your seeing good reviews?

        • Hi johnfuller,

I’ve noticed your comments about our review policy and wanted to respond directly. It seems like you’re really upset about us offering an incentive for reviews, and I’d like to better understand why. This is a common practice across the industry, and many brands like Koala, Emma, Ecosa, and others also do this.

To set the record straight, we’ve always offered our incentives to anyone who leaves a review, whether the feedback is positive, negative, or neutral. The idea that we only reward positive reviews is simply not true. In fact, we make this very clear in our emails and promotions.

Incentivising reviews is an industry standard because it helps businesses get honest feedback from customers who might not otherwise take the time. This feedback, whether it’s good or bad, allows us to improve. We also fully comply with legal guidelines, which state that any incentive must be available to all reviewers regardless of their opinion.

I understand that not everyone agrees with incentivising reviews, and that’s okay. However, it feels like we’re being unfairly targeted when this is something many companies in our industry do. I also noticed that you’ve said in previous comments that you’d never buy from us, which makes me wonder why we’re the focus of your frustration.

We’re happy to have constructive discussions about our practices and policies, but we also ask for fairness.

          • @onebedmattress: no its not common practice, i have purchased many items online and was never offered a reward or incentive for posting a review, its unlikely that someone will post a negative review and still expect a gift which makes your program very bias

you sent me an private message saying management changed recently, this is false, you continue with the lies

            • -1

              @johnfuller: Hi johnfuller,

Incentivising reviews is a common practice across the industry. Brands like Emma, Koala, Ecosa, SleepRepublic, ErgoFlex, and Latex Mattresses Australia also offer incentives to encourage honest feedback from their customers. It’s a way to ensure we hear from more people, regardless of whether their experience was good, bad, or neutral.

I also disagree with the idea that someone with a negative experience wouldn’t leave a review just because there’s an incentive involved. Many of our critical reviews have come from customers who took advantage of our incentive program, and their feedback has been instrumental in helping us improve.

Regarding the management changes, I can confirm that there have been significant updates. Since 2015, the company had three directors. Two of them are no longer with the company, and a new director was appointed this year, bringing a fresh perspective and leadership to our operations. This is public record, and can be veiwed on ASIC. We’ve been transparent about these changes and are focused on moving forward with improvements across the board.

    • Have one for 5 years. No sagging or any issues. Just ordered another one to replace a soft mattress from another brand.

And these are much better value then other online mattress. Highly recommended them

      • +1

Choice, thanks you two, might consider taking a look, time for a new mattress

    • I have double regrets from this seller.
This mattress will become soggy in 2 months time. No matter what. It's just foam. Biggest regret from OzB I have about this mattress.
And the Customer service is poor.
Product review would be result of paid review where they need confirmation of review to offer some % discount or cash back or so. Don't fall for this. This is just foam with three layers.

      My 2 cents worth.

      • Pop, thanks for the heads up, lucky i didnt pull the trigger yet, i might just go to a reputable store as i definitely need support for my size :/

        • We've been in business since 2015 with thousands of satisfied customers, but let me be crystal clear about what we offer:

Every mattress comes with our 125-night trial. If you don't like it for ANY reason, we pick it up for free, donate it to charity, and refund 100% of your money. No hidden fees, no shipping costs. You get FOUR months to decide.

About sagging: We offer a clear anti-sag warranty. If your mattress shows visible indentation (which we verify through photos), we replace it free of charge. While all foam naturally softens over time - that's physics - our high-density foams are engineered for durability. We have customers from nearly a decade ago still loving their Onebed.

Our new management team is actively working with any customers who had negative experiences in the past. Our trial policy is simple: love the mattress or get a full refund.

I encourage everyone to read ALL our reviews on ProductReview - good and bad. With thousands of reviews online, you'll see that the vast majority of our customers are satisfied with both our mattresses and service. And if any past customers still have unresolved issues, reach out. We're here to make it right.

      • +1

Eww soggy. Might not be the fault of the mattress though

  • What is more plush, Onebed X or the OneBed Modular?

    • The Onebed X mattress is designed with a medium-firm feel, offering a balance between softness and support. In contrast, the Onebed Modular mattress allows for customizable firmness levels, including a plush setting. If you're seeking a softer feel, the Onebed Modular with the plush module would be the more suitable option.

Was cheaper few days ago when they offered extra $100 off

    • +1

Really? So their “lowest prices ever” claim at the bottom is a bit of bullshit?

        • +1

Some mattresses were very marginally cheaper a couple of days ago when we offered a $100 coupon. We were having issues with the coupon, so we switched to a 50% off discount instead. This means higher-priced mattresses are now even cheaper, while lower-priced ones are slightly more expensive by $25–$30. If you DM me the price you saw with the coupon, I’ll make you a code to match it, ensuring you get the best deal.

          • @onebedmattress: Quoting from your post "Lowest prices ever – don’t miss out!"

      • ofcourse, they think you dont know any better

      • 🤣🤣🤣🤣

  • Can you purchase and get delivered at a later date? In the process of finding a new place to live.

    • +1

Yeah you can, just put a note in special instructions.

      • How long are you able to hold it for?

        • As long as you like, provided payment is made during the sale period.

  • Hey rep @onebedmattress I have an existing base from an ensemble. Can I switch out the top with a One Bed mattress but keep the base?

    • Yep, you can. Provided your ensemble is a standard Australian size.
