I have a mate who works at a HN (a fair distance away from where I live) and found out their buy price for the Nespresso U - I then got the HN closer to me to price match it.
With the current $60 cash back it makes the Nespresso U $155.
I think HN currently have the machine on sale for $249, so its not a massive saving, but I thought it was a good deal.

Thanks. Must have been a local thing. Called up a few stores in NSW and none of them knew anything about it. It's $249 everywhere I talked to.
Tried the HN price match as well. The manager I talked to at Auburn said that $215 is the staff price and refused to offer it to me. She said the best they could do for me was $230.
I think it was mispriced, in today and its back up to 250.
Just saw it in the Kotara store, no link I'm afraid .
My local DJs (Canberra Centre, ACT) also had it at $249. Myer had it listed for $289, the salesman said he would match DJ's $249, but not go lower. Bing Lee (Belconnen, ACT) had it listed at $249, said they could go down to $229. Went to Good Guys around the corner, where it was also listed for $249. I told GGs the Bing Lee price, and they went down to $225. So I bought it there from Good Guys.
Top tip….. not even their staff know their true buy price, further more I believe there computer buy price is cost plus 37% gerrys tax on the stores, this doesn't include any rebate which hn get based an sales figures which can account to a large %.
