    Luks like UX31

    • Yet I see no UX31 deal :/

  • HP Pavilion dv6-6C35TX - normal price is $598, not $899
    So it's just $99 off, not $300

    • not $300,$400 off :)

I have one of these and it overheats like a mofo… would not recommend this laptop to anyone who doesn't want to use a cooler with it, and have your air conditioning running all the time…

I inherited one from someone who was sick of it blue screening every 10 minutes, just running Chrome and Office… so I flashed a new BIOS, it doesn't overheat to bluescreen stage now, just overheats to be annoying as hell still!

I am using a SSD with it too, not even a spinner!! Doing whatever I can to keep it cool…

Same situation with my older HP dv6, i hate HP and would never ever recommend them for friends or family no matter what price drop it has, they haven't improved in the past 8 years i've been dealing with and customer support is still atrocious.

Invest in a better brand and avoid HP at all costs.

  • 2 years ago they were selling the 4gb USB stick for $1. Now $2????

"Previously they had website problems so you might want to head to a store early."

    haha, not at those prices.

  • Yeah nothing special.

You found item for $1 cheaper doesnt mean you neg the whole deal.

      • you saying the whole deal? which deal..which one is really a good deal? since when we cant neg if we found there is nothing special on the deal?

        • Would you be so kind to show me where i can buy an laptop with equal or better spec than the HP pavilion for the same price or less(Australian stock with gst not import). I would appreciate that very much.
Also i wouldnt mind getting an xbox360 for less than $149 either

        • I am not saying you can find it cheaper, but it is not a good deal, MSY had the same spec for $539 for similar spec asus R500A-SX061S or hp 650-C0R14PA on regular basis (not on sale or on any boxing day related). Dont judge me for $1 post, i just inform other user that ebgames had xoom 2 for $1 cheaper on regular basis.

thats the thing, you didnt just "inform" others

    • wow, how about other deals?
Please dont just neg other people just because all of their deals are not "cheaper" than other stores!!!

what other deal that really a bargain..cmon…tell me then…it is more like a standard retail price.

  • Xbox same price last year but not bad

    • yep but still a good price :(

  • two years ago around this time of year i bought a lenovo g560 off MLN, and it had an annoyingly fiddly trackpad. still an OK machine but the trackpad is still annoying.

  • I am not negging but ovrall nothing to get excited about. No ultabooks on sale either.

  • mln used to be real good for pricing, but last couple of years they are pretty average for price

  • These are just some of deals. Obviously there are heaps more, surprised you missed the Xoom 2 10.1 with 3 g and the Samsung camera

Er andyken above just inform us that ebgames are selling the xoom 2 for $298(regular price). Clearly you could do better.
Please read other comments and don't embarrass yourself like this

thanks for the feedback, obviously we don't regulate pricing, Its pretty clear $298 is at $250 and most likely reactive pricing. Wish you all well with your bargain hunts. We have plenty of units to go around for everyone and this is not a stunt price.

  • If it is the same price elsewhere this does not mean its the normal retail price. All businesses react to each other, its a free market.
