  • is stuff generally cheaper on the US itunes store?

    • +3

Yes, most if not all things are cheaper

  • How are you making payment with this deal, as usually PayPal will fail if it isn't a US PayPal account, and then obviously Credit Card will also fail because the billing address won't match?

  • get another 4% off using ebates

  • Us cc required for payment. Does not accept overseas credit card/PayPal. No deal.

  • +1

Seems like too many hoops to jump through, considering these regularly go for about the same, if not cheaper, elsewhere.

For US iTunes cards? Please post where, I would love to grab some. Normally I pay around $53AUD for $50USD iTunes cards. If your comparing these to Aus cards, there is no comparison. US iTunes benefit people like myself for the much cheaper content and the ability to charge Hulu and netflix to a US iTunes account.

  • Good deal but no way I'm aware of to purchase them using an Aus credit card. If someone knows how please tell me, I could do with another $50US to bump my Hulu up for another 6 months,

I just tried using the buy it for me service from comgateway, cost me $8 USD extra for two cards, but still means $88 USD for $100 USD credit, considering most resellers that would cost $120 or there a outs, it still counts as a bargain in my books, although I haven't actually received anything yet.

    • Nice idea. Anyone else got an even cheaper option?

  • Checkout worked for me, I have a USA shipito address, but paid using my paypal balance if that helps, All gone thru no problem at all, now just waiting on it in email but it does say up to 48 hours! cheers!

EDIT that does not work, email received the order was an error and has been cancelled.

    • They don't accept non-us Paypal account.

      • yeah but I stupidly thought they would maybe accept it if it had funds in it already lol - ah well, looks like SiriX ways the only way? using the buy it for me service.

        • I say this from experience (previously used Walmart eGift service with PayPal) and yeah, they just cancel the order as soon as they find out it's not a US PayPal account, so basically the only 2 options you have are to use a Buy It For Me service like ComGateway, or PriceUSA (altho they may not like this because they used to sell iTunes cards at a profit previously) or if you setup a US Virtual Credit Card (Pain-in-the-ass) and usually would work out more expensive than the 10% ComGateway charge.

  • last year, I bought from Bestbuy using 28degree, no problem. Maybe amazon is different.

  • if your buying itunes here 2 for 1 probably works out not much better

    • That's not correct, because we often pay more than twice the price in the Aussie Itunes store compared to the US one. And 2 for 1 offers aren't that common.

    • Content is far cheaper on the us iTunes Store and that isn't the main reason I need us iTunes cards. It's to keep my Hulu plus and netflix subscriptions active which charge to my us iTunes account. For anyone wanting Hulu plus and netflix, that is definitely the easiest way to sign up. Ue your Apple TV and a VPN/unblock-us, log into us iTunes account and then sign up to each service on the Apple TV choosing bill my iTunes account. Then just add credit to your account.

  • Anyone tried www.flexibledream.com for US iTunes cards? I guess there is always eBay… (too expensive imo).

  • FYI my ComGateway order got canceled, they don't allow e-Gift Card purchasing apparently, even though it doesn't show that anywhere on there site that I could see.

FYI, I'm trying out Entropay for a US-based virtual credit-card. This should solve the payment problem with Walmart, along with a fake address. Will report back here shortly with the outcome. (all other methods failed so far - paypal, use of AUS card, etc)
