It looks like the previous deal for Senheiser HD650 is back on same price again! Price went up to EUR316 when I checked a few days ago.

To help you out, have a read on headphones comparison on how they par with other cans:

As others have suggested, these requires an amp to make the most out of it. However a good pc soundcard is a start IMO.

What are some amp recommendations for this unit? I currently have a pair of beyerdynamics DTX-800's plugged into a M-Audio Fast Track - I suspect this won't do these headphones justice?

  I am using audio-gd 5.32, suggested by users on head-fi.org. It has a lot more drive power than the M-Audio, sound quality is better as well.

Couldn't resist.. ordered :)

Going to use my NAD amp to amplify them initially, will look into getting a proper headphone amp later.
