15 dollars for trunks is generally the price you pay at Target, etc…. not really a bargain when the RRP is 25-30 dollars and no one really pays that much in the first place.

I think I've paid as high as 17 dollars for trunks from the local shops, cheapest around 10 bucks.

even 40% off you're still paying very close to the price you get it for any day of the year.

    edit

Big W catalog has the Bonds trunks for the price of $12 in the latest catalog,

    http://catalogues.bigw.com.au/catalogue/big-w-catalogue-last…

this deal is crappy, especially because it was posted from a representative of Bonds too? surprising the prices went UP when they shut down all Australian jobs and sent them all to China, you'd think prices would of gone down…. no wonder the company isn't going so well.

lower prices, sell more. raise prices, sell less? Maybe I should become a Bonds representative

    • You can find 1/2 price in many stores so 40%off means nothing

    • Bonds have different grades of quality for different stores. Best & Less have trunks for $7. You'll be wanting to head to the website for the good stuff.

Even at 40% off, Bonds products still seem overpriced for what they are, especially considering that they're not even made in Australia anymore.

mine came with free delivery so saves hustling in shops…good deal for me…

@BigGuns (REP), Is that you Pat Rafter?

Good delivery speed on last order. $4.50/pair was a good deal. Nothing interesting hear that TARGET didn't have cheaper in their 40% over the weekend.

Bring manufacturing back to Australia, and I'd pay those prices, but not for "Made in China".

  • SHIPPING WARNING: Bonds is sending out "Your BONDS gear is on its way" emails, complete with tracking IDs, on the assumption that Australia Post will pick it up when they expect them to. If they don't, for whatever reason, you won't be advised.

In my view they should be sending out this email once Australia Post has collected.

  • I have just been to Target where they also have 40% off bonds. A pair of cool max trunks cost $21.

      Likewise.

Instead of having your vote removed for opposing a rule that a mod has just stated put your reasons.
I'll do it for you so you can edit, copy and paste.

Prices are standard sale and not impressive.
Target, Big W and so on don't charge rrp when the items aren't on sale and they do 20, 30, 40, 50 and sometimes 60% off in sales.
Quality has been lacking since they have outsourced manufacturing.

      • Likewise revoke

    Pretty poor effort.
If I can get them from the department stores for cheaper and the department stores are still making good money from me why can't you beat them?

    • -1

It would be very poor form for them to undercut their stores who would be their main source of income. Unless its runout stock then the only sensible way to run a direct store is to treat it as through it is any other store they supply to and sell it themselves for the same price.

  • Add 10% discount for stupid likes.

  • Bring back the 50% off facebook coupons

  • They think we dont shop around for price????
