  • niceeee price!

need one of these. bought an older tom tom years ago, its just cheaper to buy a new one (and sell the old) than it is to subscribe to the update service.

question is, do i try to save $5 on postage by picking up or just pay the postage and avoid the crowd…

  • how does this compare to the Garmin 1450 for the same price?
    cheers

Its a "Do you prefer brand A to brand B" question.

This one has a 5" screen whereas the Garmin 1450LMT has a 4.3". This one doesnt have lifetime map updates whereas the Garmin does. The Garmin also has live traffic included in the package through a FM receiver to check on accidents.
