on the MSY pdf it says cashback from Acer Offer ends 31/12/2012 but on your post it says Offer Ends 30/06/13!!!??? If the price before cash-back is $398 and after acer cash-back $299. how is that even a sale? its the normal price with acer cash-back as usual. I guess the devil lies in the details of phrasing "up to 50%". disappointed with MSY's fake sale.

The problem with these cheap laptops is usually the the CPU. The B960 is a Sandybridge chip with all the Cool stuff cut out, leaving it roughly equivalent to a first gen i3. This should OK for people who aren't gamers. (Gamers should stay well away from the integrated graphics, that is even more crippled than normal integrated graphics, but that is to be expected for a $300 laptop).

FYI acer gives you 14 days to send in your cashback offer.. if THEY do not get it in time through the post u will get nothing back !!
Its kinda a crap system overall. I never got my cashback i think the info got lost or was delayed in the post.
