Seems like a good deal, around $75 delivered from US ebay store but I would rather from Amazon for warranty purposes.

    It's got a knife, right?

Not sure if it will get past customs.

It's a prohibited import, customs doesn't open every package but if they do it'll probably be confiscated.

Items that are NOT subject to control: multi tools

      should be fine, surely?

    • I had not considered this when I placed my order but I did five minutes of googling and found this page from the customs website which explicitly states multi tools are exempt from control.

What is your source that it's a prohibited import? The skeletool is clearly is multi tool but I can see how it could be seen as incorporating a folding knife. It has a blade that recesses into the handle but even so it is not a one handed opening knife but it could be covered under assisted opening knife which is on the control list but if this multi tool is included under that every pocket knife and multi tool should be.

Is there a machete mutli-tool or katana multi-tool?

  • I don't remember the price, but if you have a Costco membership, it may be a better option for warranty
