  • Sweet, extra 10% off for first purchase

Can't stack both codes though right? I couldnt figure out a way to

    • Did you work out how to stack codes?

    • Thanks used 10% code, couldn’t stack both.

      • +1

Is the 10% off code a generic one?

        EDIT: WELCOME10 still works

  • +6

Reschs…the sound you make over the porcelain after too many of these

    • +1

      Good old wreckers

    • +5

I wonder if they have a Dry Reschs

  • Unfortunately, they won't deliver to my post code. 3226

  • +3

It's refusing to deliver to my postcode in the ACT, too.

Poor that there's no list of deliverable postcodes on the product page… have to go through the entire checkout process in order to be told it's not happening.

  • +1

    GOAT beer

  • +4

It will not allow me to check out . I am in WA. It does not give a reason

    • +4

Waste of time data-harvesting deal for 75% of the country, it seems.

    • +3

Yep, same for me, says doesnt deliver to my postcode (WA). Only tells me this after they have my email address and phone number…

    • +1

Same, tried 2 different addresses and no delivery available.
If you live in WA don't bother with this deal and giving the site your info.

  • How can we stack codes OP?

    • Unfortunately you can not stack codes.

      • +2

Why are you responding to trivial administrative comments but shirking factual comments about how most of Australia isn't eligible for this deal and you're wasting people's time by not being upfront?

  • +2

Is this an actual pilsner, bitter and hopped with saaz, or a standard Oz lager hopped with pride of ringworm?

I miss not being able to get Pilsner Urquell anymore 😢

      • +1

I'm aware of that. I'm not too keen on paying $110 to have a potentially stale carton of beer delivered though.
        edit: sorry… $125 with shipping.

    • +1

Its actually a decent Pils, better than the macroswill lagers IMO. My general go to if options are limited.

I've never seen the hops listed for it officially - though that's not exactly unusual for macro beers. I've seen people use hallertau when making a HB clone of it.

      • Thanks. Hallertau is good. I wouldn't mind trying it, but they won't deliver to my postcode on this deal.

Since Dan's stopped selling Urquell I've switched to Monsuta Supreme for my daily driver, which is a solid lager, though I still miss Urquell.

Some Aldi stores still have the Budvar 500ml 4-Pack cans in stock for $14.99. Very nice beer. Still made in Czechoslovakia

      • +7

Must be old stock if made in Czechoslovakia. Would at least want mine made in the Czech Republic. 😉

        • +6

Henry and I like ours brewed in Bohemia 🍻

        • Oops. Showing my age. That said, it's good that a beer can taste just as good post communism

          • @Snoots: Czechs don't like it when you call their country Czechoslovakia (and I don't blame them either).
I made that same slip of the tongue when chatting with a Czech at a party once and it didn't go down too well.

            • +2

@Fappo: Most former communist countries have a bad taste for anything regarding the old soviet union. I don't blame them. For example look at Poland and Baltic states. No love for Russia and their economies are doing well.

              • @Snoots: Yep. That person was too young to have lived through it, but many younger people with an Eastern Bloc background are probably still familiar with the horrors of communism through their relatives.

Anyway, let's have a beer to the downfall of communism 🍻

      • +1

Thanks, I'll have a look. Budvar's not bad and I occasionally pick it up when I spot it at aldi. I much prefer Pils Urquell though. A while back Aldi were selling the tall cans of Urquell and I picked up a slab, but I've only ever seen it there the once unfortunately.

        • +1

It doesn't taste like a pilsener, but than Carlsberg pilsener doesn't ANYMORE, since Coopers took it on 10-12 years ago (except the imported elephant beer).
The Carlsberg pilsener is ordinary, and probably comes from the pale ale vat.

WELCOME10 still works for 10% off

  • +1

Lasoo still exists? Wasn’t it a comparison site or pdf catalogue site or something?

    • -2

Yes, Ted still exists. Up to season 3 now I believe.

  • +1

Comes up at $50 for me after entering coupon.

  • +1

Why do we pay so much tax an a slab of beer?

    • Alcohol is bad for health

      • +2

True, but alcohol, friends, family and a piece of meat on a fire make for a very good experience.

    • Is been happening since pre gst. Twice a year.

  • +2

    reschs refreshers!

  • +1

    Got it for $45

    • May I ask which payment method you used?

I was trying to use Google Play and the discount wasn't being applied.

      • $45 for me, for some reason it didn't work on mobile (only the OZB code would) but welcome code worked on PC with Afterpay

  • Tried it a couple of times and didn't like it. Try Czech or German beer for a great pilsner.

As a bargain it is good deal.

  • +3

    Silver bullets!
Someone tell CUB to sell the Draught in cans.

  • Server error when paying. So may or may not have purchase. Maybe the beer gods are telling me to give it up

  • Damn, finally got the coupon to work and then find out they don't deliver to me….

    Cart Error
Reschs Pilsener, Iconic Australian Beer, Refreshing & Dry Finish, 4.4% ABV, 375mL (Case of 24 Cans) is unable to be delivered to postcode 3950

    Fun times.

  • Wouldn't let me apply discount code on the phone without registering.
    Thanks OP, it's a good deal delivered👍
