Wow, that's cheaper than buying a controller by itself.

  • Awesome price/deal.

Now if they would just reduce the 3DS XL again!

Thanks for this, will go nicely with my black one.

  • Good deal but seems to be low stock levels.

  • Great price!
1 left at Big W Kawana Waters.

  • just back from Highpoint, no stock.

  • you can buy the console (black or white) + Mario Kart & Wheel from dick smith for $138 plus they have 25% off some of the accessories until the end of the year.

If I were to buy a Wii, I'd import the Mini version just because it looks so cool. (Even though it doesn't have eShop/Nintendo WFC access)

      • +1

It doesn't have a lot of things. It can't even do 480p since they stripped out support for component.

        • +1

576i can look better sometimes like with black ops on wii. It wasn't coded to display 480p properly.

  • thanks got one. they had about 8 on the shelf at Hallett Cove, SA. bonus i got staff discount…

  • Anyone with a Wii U and this controller? Will it work for Wii U games? My Sonic Colours controller is not compadible with the Wii U but holding hope this might.

    • +1

Ok for some games (rayman,FIFA,darksider2…)but dosent work with Nintendo land or mario U(dont understand why they not allow mario U use it). Not really a must have but its a good deal.

      • Thanks, what about Zombie U multiplayer?

        • Yes I guess, according to Stand0410 downstairs. :)

      • Thanks for the link Strand0410 but Wikipedia is wrong about Zombi U multiplayer being able to support the Wii Classic Controller. I bought it and just tried it then, no luck.

  • The controller isn't that flash but pretty nice to have for any Goldeneye fanatics like myself! JB have this exact package priced at $118 so it's a pretty good deal :)

Even if I don't play the game that often, the gold controller….if I can't get the Gold Wiimote or Nunchuck, hopefully I can at least have a Gold Classic Controller Pro.

    In other words…I want it.

    • +1

It's a good deal, I bought the gold controller just by itself so I can rock the gold Wiimote (Zelda limited edition) and gold Nunchuk (eBay'd a Japanese Club Nintendo). Note that while the cord for the gold Classic Controller is black, the Nunchuk's is white.

    history lesson:
    Pierce Brosnan starred in GoldenEye

    • Yep, but in this remake they have Daniel Craig.

Should of had Mike Myers :p

  • Can't seem to find anyway in far north QLD

anyone know the trade in value of these?

  • The game is actually pretty good, and a bit of fun on single and local multi-player. Online multiplayer works well but joining a game and the interval between rounds is mind-numbingly SLOW. Well worth it at this price though.

  • they had a couple left at big w campsie

  • They had more than 8 at box hill and more out the back according to the guy at the counter.

A few have been put on ebay today.. i'm sure it is just a coincidence ;)

Endeavour Hills (VIC) out of stock, Fountain Gate (VIC) had a few left. They weren't aware of the price change until they scanned it. If you phone stores, make sure you mention that it's the game + controller for $24…I had a few people think I meant game only, and they were out of stock of the game by itself. Great find, cheers OP!

  • Big W Winston Hills still has at least 4 copies left.

  • I got mine from box Hill , it was not on the shelf , you have to ask the counter.

the downside is I only want the controller. need to get rid of the game.

hopefully the "not for reseller" sign at the back of the game won't affect me selling it.

    • gifox, if you are only after the controller, wanna sell me the game and box to me then?

  • BIG W Altona Meadows had about 5 left, Glass Cabinet near games. Staff weren't aware of discount till scanned.

  • Quick Q, does the gold color fade or melt in your sweaty hands? My stupid gold gun for PS2 faded but because of it I won a Sony mini Hifi set so couldn't complain.

Nice anecdote. Apart from the fact that it makes absolutely no sense without context.

  • Bonnyrigg and Carnes Hill (Sydney) don't have any left. Just checked this morning.

  • +1

Currently unavailable online and in store.

  • Good news, 2 left at Neeta City in Fairfield

  • Epping, Vic had about 5 left at 10am.

  • I wish they remade that Golden Eye remake on Xbox 360 instead of this crappy game.

  • Thanks, pickedup from Top Ryde and they had few available at midday. Ph and they may have one and hold for you.

One misleading note: box had "Nintendo WiFi connection" logo , however the "Classic Controller Pro" is wired. I would have expected a WiFi Controller.

    • I think the Nintendo WiFi connection logo might refer to online components of the game? The [Wii] Classic Controller Pro has always been wired. The Wii U pro controller on the other hand is definitely wireless :)

  • Will jbhifi price match these? I'm afraid if these will go out of stock and not replenish!

  • Big W in Calamvale Corner QLD has 3 left after I bought one today. Behind the glass, might need to show them the picture online in case someone there is a n00b. Its listed there for $60 but scans at $24. Bargain! Thanks guys!

  • Picked one up today at 2pm from the Hallett Cove store in SA. When i left the store there was two left on the shelf. Thanks!

  • At bonnyrig big w now. Still got like 8 left.price say $60 scanning at $24. Bought only 1

Would the controller work with wii u?
also, what would trade value of this be?

    • the controller does work with the wii u if you plug it into the wii remote

      trade value wouldn't be much

  • Just noticed that this is still available at Morayfield Qld. They still had 2 in the cabinet.
