    Would suggest trying on the New Balance 2002R in person if you can. I personally found them a bit too narrow for my liking and not as comfortable compared to the 990s. But the 2002Rs are way cheaper on sale and I think most people won't notice the difference.

    Only small sizes in those off yellow ones, cheap but I'd pay more for a better colourway.

    $120 not bad for half decent colours (Q3) Spanian approved.

    I started looking at NB 530 which lead me to the 2002R which lead me to Nike Vomero 5 (which apparently are better). Still comes down to personal preference of course.

    The 2002r got me through Japan for 16 days, walking about 20k to 30k steps a day.

      I don't think you can go wrong with those hey. Classics with some 'modern' running shoe tech (or from the time), pretty versatile.
      I would have been happy with these on the lookout. Apparently much more comfortable than the 530. Get a pair of 9060 if you don't already, they are great too.

      I picked up some 996v6, haven't worn yet. They are meant to be the most comfortable model but the toe box feels quite roomy.
