Register with QBE first via link.
'Switch' not necessary, but you need to register with QBE first every time before paying for CTP. I've being registering the same car with QBE for years now.
Then pay your 12months CTP insurance afterwards via Service SA.

$25 voucher emailed to you,. usually takes 1-2 days.
I immediately change it to AmazonGC and onto my Amazon balance.

Apparently $50 GC in QLD!

On my rego statement this week : all five insurers cost the same.

    I'm not in QLD, but the QBE site says up to $50 in QLD.

    Maybe it's just switching etc. This isn't relevant to SA

  CTP Regulator 2023-24 Annual report under the "Reporting required under the Compulsory Third Party Insurance Regulation Act 2016" -> "Scheme Statistics" -> "Market share of in-force premium" states that QBE has a share of 26%.

  I'm surprised it is not higher.

    I was out of luck last year. Registered then renewed but did not get the card. After 1 month made a complain and got it. This year did the same, registered and renewed, same story. Lodged an enquiry after waiting 1 month, did not receive a response yet.
