    Got the email the other day, but couldn't figure out why it wasn't applying any discounts.
    Finally worked it out just before and bought a gift card.
    Now just waiting for it, and waiting, and waiting.
    Oh wait, there it is… in the SPAM folder! 🤦

    If you are new customer then you can
    - use referral code to get $30 off $50 spend for both of you
    - after open new account go to My Account > Promo and use code WELCOME30 and you can get $30 off $100 spend.

    So you will have 2x $30 off, you won't be able to buy giftcard in the app as new customer but you can buy in store. Kmart/Officeworks won't work for buying giftcard.

    You can buy Coles Myer in Myer (min spend $100) and Wish gc in BigW, you need to link payment method and add Afterpay card to Google Pay/Apple Pay to pay. Buy $50 first to use referral promo then $100 for the 2nd promo. Referrer also can buy $50 to get $30 off.

    Another shop may works with buying giftcard is Chemist Warehouse

          Mine's finished days early. I have an IT theory….
          Here it goes.

          I suspect the marketing monkeys at AfterPay have set the promotion to start on 3/3/2025.
          They then got their IT team to start a batch email of the promotion.

          BUT they have probably hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of subscribers so the email mail out does not take a few minutes or hours, the email mail out probably takes DAYS, maybe weeks to complete the full mail out. So its churning out emails with the promotion saying you have 7 days but that is based on a start date days before the email is sent to the customer.

          Instead the start date should be set based on when the email is sent.. but they didn't think about that.

          Anyway that's my "theory".

    Didn't work for me tried via clicking the link to open the app and also directly entering into the promo section of the app. I got a reminder and just keeps saying invalid code. Looks like they aren't honoring the 7 days but expired it in less than 5. (issued 6/3 for me)

      Mine issued 6/3 too and won’t add to promo wallet. I email, spoke to someone who called me as arranged on 7/3, sent screenshots and got a generic response from her of what to do. Got a reminder email yesterday with code welcomeback30. Doesn’t work. Emailed screenshots, got generic response from someone, I said I know all that, he replied to say escalated yesterday and no word as yet. Obviously reading all the other comments this is a shambles. I won’t give up - retired and have the time lol.

            @chrisharry53: same here. 16 hours since last response. Now I'm just planned pissed off. don't care about the $30 anymore I want an explanation on why they are sending reminder emails on an invalid code and why support are giving robotic-responses to what should be a quick fix.

              @paulojr: It is the principle eh. I tried last week and emailed on Friday to begin with, well within time. I was happy they organised a call but all downhill since then. I will keep you updated.

                @chrisharry53: thanks, @chrisyharry53, your right, I raised a complaint anyways and they just come back on the complaint saying its been fixed and now is working, and yes the code is now working.

                No explanation but I suspect its exactly what I suggested, big screw up internally with no communication to anyone.

    WELCOMEBACK30 code is working again now so if you have not added it previously you should do it asap.

    They must have received many complaints from those who received email but couldn't use the code so re-activated the code.
