IKEA Order with Free Delivery Change of Mind

Just curious I have an outstanding item to get from ikea from a previous order which was part of a free delivery deal at time.
The item is now two weeks almost overdue as still no stock in store yet which seem unusual I thought they was quick in restocking soon after.
Obviously that one item I’m waiting on is part of my larger order which was delivered.
But I’m thinking of changing my mind on the item I’m waiting for and spending more.
I suspect if I canceled that one item I’m waiting for there be no more free delivery change or could they change my what’s left of that order to a bigger order and still provide me with free delivery.
My new items cost more but the refund on the one item would go towards that and obviously I have the extra items as well.
But i suspect if I had them cancel my what’s left of a previous order to get that anything after this is no fee delivery.
It be nice if I was able to just change my order to something bigger and still have that free delivery but paying the extra for free delivery does not really interest me.
The bigger items would suit me more in a new order but I could live with that one item which is part of a previous order and get a smaller item to go with it.
But I certainly can’t pick the bigger items I’m hoping to change mind to as just to long and not interested in damaging car for.
I just thought they may honour a change of mind item which seems to be taking a while to come back in for something else I’m more suited for yet still keep free delivery open and my order added to with extra.
But i suspect they don’t care that much lol

    Leo AI TL;DR:

    The user is wondering about changing their IKEA order with free delivery. They have an outstanding item that's taking a while to restock, and they're considering canceling it to add new items to their order. They want to know if they can still get free delivery on their new order.

    @bwatt72 I doubt it.

    You can’t alter the existing order and add new items, that’s not how it works. If you want to make changes, you’ll have to make a new order. If you want to make a new order, you’re bound to the terms at that point in time, so you’ll have to pay a new delivery fee.

    And before you ask, yes, this would still be the case regardless of if the new items are delivered on the same actual truck as the previous free delivery item.
