Can you actually make this chime or ring with the google home app?

  • Expandable memory/microsd slot?

Get it if you're really tight in budget otherwise, just save your money for something better, maybe wait for Aldi's special sales.

I once bought an Aldi Bauhn Android tablet.

      Never again.

no spec on the OP post, and without clicking the click i know this would be 2GB or 4GB ram.
    thanks but pass

Don't buy cheap tablets unless you're really tight for money or it's for kids. And never rely on cheap tablets for security or critical work stuff. Bought a cheap entry level Android 5 years ago (big named brand), no security updates for the last 3 years/ended in 2022. Still functions due to Google Play updates (for how long?) but otherwise it's a nice paper wait.

Bought a flagship 7 years ago (biggest android name brand) cough samsung cough no security updates for the last 5 years. still functions but struggles to open even the messaging app and has 6 if not 8gb ram. big spec android are never good in hand as on paper. can't imagine how bad cheap ones are. It's like getting a 6L murica fuq ya V8 that's less capable while drinking 2-3x more fuel than one of those dink 2L 4 cylinders they put in those AMG A35

I have an apple ipad gen9 or so, which is the worst tech purchase I made. Someone told me it is good for reading pdfs and annotation. Now it is like a paperweight, not user-friendly at all with stupid sandboxing.

you will be surprise what sellers offer on marketplace…. probably $120 after using it for 14 months lol and when we bargain they get angry and say low baller go away

      • it's expensive to have a "poor" mentality
Most people who buy used stuff assume its cheaper than newer stuff but in fact they are getting a very bad deal.

Even Apple exploits peoples poor mentality => New iPhone 13 is $877 but iPhone 16e is $949 as Costco or $900 if you PM with OW. Even worse used iPhone 13 are sold for $500+ at market place

iPhone 13 is POS when compared with iPhone 16e but I am sure a lot of people will jump into iPhone 13 as it was $1499 when released !

But if I can save just $5 with a stacked 5% off discount code, then cashback, then fee free international credit card fee or even PayPal to avoid fees, then I can add $5 worth of toilet paper for free shipping and then C&C to save even on the shipping, then use a Indian or Nigerian VPN to get a bigger discount, after all of that then I'm sweet.

What a huge waste of time, you could have spent those 2 hours doing something useful.

          • @GardenGnome: Could you please elaborate your main point as I fail to understand the connection

        • or do something better with your time.

I would donate them to the third world countries if I was the Lenovo CEO. At least doing something good for those who need it.

Just received a call from third world countries, even they don’t need it. 🤷‍♂️

Got a free M7 from Lenovo promo long time ago

I have had one for a few months. I use it to control a robotic telescope (Seestar S50). No online activity. The battery life is great. Lasts two full nights of telescope observations and image storage.

I'm always surprised at the range of random activities ozbargainers are doing. You have doctors, powerful lawyers, experienced tradies providing advice on renovations and everything else inbetween. Didn't know that specific telescope was even a thing. You could be a very well respected astronomer, astrophotographer who's had their work published, or a hobbyiest who wanted to become one but due to a certain set of circumstances you have a random job whilst pursuing your passion on the side. All with one shared interest, after a cheeky bargain.

    • btw, you can access Seestar S50's internal 64GB storage as a network share from PC, if you connect it as to your home wifi with station mode, alao it is possible to download raw FITS files for integrating with other tools. I used phone for control and copy data from network share.

    Don't bother.

    Own one, absolute crap.

Slow hardware and buggy OS - really weird things like screen orientation management and the pull-down menus just don't work well. I never use it because it's just not worth the trouble to try to get it going.

  • Any good for stremio?

  • These are fine as colour ebook readers and some streaming

  • For those saying these are no good, what's a tablet that comes on sale under $200 that we should buy?

  • First of all, how slow are these?

  • Genuine bargains at this place

  • Is it good for Home Assistant Panel? Or are there any cheaper alternatives?

  • Snagged one for a 5 yr old first tablet… let see how long this will last

  • S HOW METH EMO NEY? wtf does that even mean?

    • Starcraft cheat code

  • Now instore only. And only in SA. :(

  • Is this faster than that Optus tab a deal.few years ago?

  • is AliExpress Telecast p85t better? not sure which to give as a gift to relative to be a e-reader/ light games?

  • Now all sold out

  • Thanks to OP for posting this. Luckily I snagged one before it came back to original price.

People dismissed it as the slower older 2023 Lenovo M8 4th gen which had the quad core Mediatek Helio A22 MT676, but in actual fact what was for sale is the 2024 Lenovo M8 4th gen with a MediaTek MT8768 octa core processor.

A octa core for less than 100$ is a steal

    Thanks again!

  • Thanks OP, received mine earlier this week so have had some time to mess around now. Certainly nothing special about it but I've bought it to run a small HA dashboard so looks to be just the thing :)
