Copypasta:

24Ah Powerpack back at $169 for everyone (not just eBay Plus or Zip payment users). delivery jacked by $2.90 though.

ATL was $149 + delivery, that was Zip pay only though.

Copypasta:

Excludes WA Remote.

all time low (by $5) back again. available to all users.

the rest is copypasta..

price on this changes every 12-24 hours.

originally saw it being posted on Ozb for $199 + delivery months ago and have reposted it a few times with lowest being $179 + Delivery but those were [eBay Plus] or [Afterpay] only.

this is an all time low BUT they jacked delivery price up by $5 to $20 (was $15 before).

so you really should see it as $5 cheaper than previous ATL not $10 cheaper.

some previous comments said 4WDSupacentre was happy to price match eBay with current code if you called them and Click & Collected from one of their stores.

I got the 12Ah one as my 2nd powerbank. main negative is 4 lights solid on doesn’t mean 100% charged.
I bought the cheapest USB-C tester from Amazon and checked 30 mins after 4 lights solid on it dropped to 0w so 100%. so I think the 24Ah will be 100% around 1 hour after the 4th light is solid on.

also 12Ah charges in reasonable time at 45w but this 24Ah charges at the same speed so it will take 7 to 8 hours. not good but I guess you can time a overnight charge or if charging from 50% it will be quicker.

  • Paas through charging?

    • don't quote me I can't find the comment but apparently yes it can, but it's not in the user manual so it could ruin your warranty.

    • +5

No. Only the 36ah Supports this. And the 36ah also has solar input. The 12ah & 24ah do not.
The atl for the 36ah is $269.00.

  • CAn anyone comment what these come down too in store?

    • +2

This is the lowest they go. You can get $20 if you subscribe on their website

  • What is something like this used for?

    • +1

Mainly they are used as portable power for 12v fridges that are normally in 4wd camping setups - so you could take a powered fridge down to the beach for the day for example

    • +1

      Gooloo is 22.8Ah @ 3.7V = 84Wh… 1/3 of the weight compared with a 307Wh unit.

Even still, LFP and LCO aren't fairly compared by weight or charge/discharge rate.
I'm guessing you overlooked those points of comparison though. If not, there's a big difference, it's not a joke. An interesting subject to read about.

1/3 of the weight compared with a 307Wh unit.

And @c920996 was never seen again to respond to his original dumb comment

    • +2

There's a pretty big energy capacity difference though: the Kings 24Ah battery pack has 307wh, the GT3000 has 59wh (as published on their item descriptions).

Not really an apples to apples comparison

      • 84Wh on their website, it's cheap garbage with rubbish information, just guessing what you're buying. 'Gooloo' - that doesn't sound reputable to me!!!

    • +4

      22800maH

That's meaningless without factoring the voltage. 22800mAh at 3.7V = 84.36Wh. That said, according to this spec sheet the GT-3000 is 16000mAh X 3.7V = 59.2Wh. If so Kings is over 5 times the capacity at 307.2Wh hence why it weighs more at 3kg and takes ages to charge at 45W. Also as mentioned above the different battery chemistry.

Another one falls for the higher mah marketing….

Now someone tell him the differences between cheapo pouch lipos and lifepo4.

    • Reputable brand (unlike Kings)

… the internet is wrong … must post ….

      Kings 120AH LiFePo4 teardown

    • I think you need to do some more research to understand the different applications the two devices serve.

  • $74 shipping to Hobart, lol

  • +1

Shows as $269 for me before the $20 off

    • Me too.

    • Kings products change prices on a daily basis. You might need to wait a week or two before it goes back down to this price

  • Biggest problem with this is charging time. So it's not suitable for continous days on a road trip e.g.

  • +1

The atl for the 36ah is $269.00.

    Back to $269 "today only"

    • +2

Good pick up, same price now on ebay too, but $28.75 delivery (can C & C).

If using for a fridge, would definately recommend this as the 24Ah draws down quick on hotter days,

this is not much bigger or heavier, and the faster 100W charging is big improvement too.

This also has a 50 Amp anderson output and build in MPPT solar charger.
