You must activate your chosen prepaid plan on catchconnect.com.au or on the Catch Connect App within 30 days of purchase or by the date advertised on the promotion (whichever is earlier). Additionally, you must activate your Catch Connect SIM card within 24 months of purchase, otherwise the SIM card will be cancelled and any credit associated with it will be forfeited. Not transferable or redeemable for cash. You must be aged at least 14 years to purchase a prepaid service with Catch Connect.
Apologies, a bit confusing to me. 30 days or 24 months (both says "You mush activate"). Thanks
I think its 30 days.
The SIM itself is will expire in 24 months.@MrBuu: I activated sims in the past from catch after nearly 2 years. However, inclusions could be different if you activate later.
@fozzie: Really? Did they still have the data/plan after nearly 2 years?
I would of thought that the number might remain but the data is gone after 30days
@MrBuu: I’m talking about 5 years ago, there was a glitch and 1 year plans were $30. I bought 4 packs I think. I activate two straight away and then one after a year and another one after nearly 2. I received the data and minutes that applied to that plan, for 1 year.
Also this is a 1 year plan hence it will last 1 year after activation
catch is gone, but they still brand their phone plans under catch? or just clearing stock
Catch Connect phone plans will stick around despite Catch going under.
https://catchconnect.com.au/ states they are unaffected by the closure of Catch.com.au
Info here: https://catchconnect.com.au/home/page/catchclosure
So what's the catch?
No esim
No international calls.
No 5G
Can i port my existing phone number with this?
Yes
How long do we need to activate the sim card?
