EB has got a trade deal atm, where you can trade in 3 PS5/Xbox Series X/Switch games and you can pick 2 Nintendo Switch games for free (from the Mario day selection - refer to the deal link)

You can refer to the deal below for the games that qualify from JB's 2 for $30. I know Farcry 6 and Metro Exodus do qualify for trade in.

Overall I got 2 Nintendo Switch games for $49 (I traded in 2 copies of Farcry 6 PS5 - $30 and 1 Suicide Squad PS5 - $19)

Also, note that the store won't allow you to trade in 3 copies of the same game.

      Is that restriction actually enforced by their system, or is it more a thing that staff will decide you've traded too many. I traded in about 7/8 copies of a game I got at a great price, across a couple months mind you, and never had an issue.

      Yeah they can be fussy on multioles of the same game. Guy had to call head office for authorisation cos i traded 3 of the same $2 game….silly

      yeah its just a discount and that varies on the value of game you trade in, the higher value games you trade in, the more you effectively pay for the 'free' game

    Wife did this today. We thought it was a good deal. Used some games we got of marketplace bundles.

        Just call EB Games to check, I have called and asked them the trade in value for a particular game. If the value is more than $10 then it should qualify for trade-in.

            @sunnyc: That sucks. They do have Buy 2 get 1 free for pre-owned games as well. If you happen to find cheap copies of tradable games that should work out as well.

      FYI - Don’t expect any sealed copies though.
      Apparently Nintendo AUS copies (1st party games) are, by default, shrink-wrap free.

    Way of The Hunter on XSX trades for $9 FYI. Skull and Bones dropped from $14 to $12 as well. By the end of this all these games will probably be worth $9 each.

    Called EB games and get info. Way of The Hunter on XSX trades for $11 today. Skull and Bones dropped to $9 today. (Must be over $10 trade in velue)
    Then I been to JB hifi to purchased 1x way of the hunter - XSX $15 , 1x call of duty vanguard XSX + 1x NERF legends XSX (bundle 2for $30) , totally spend $45 then trade in at EB Games to get 1x Mario odyssey and 1x Mario Bros Wonder.
