  • Code doesn't seem to work for subscription price. Oh man who usually pay $62 per kg… Aldi beans FTW.

I got Sunset BLVD on the last deal . It was OK. Will try a differnt blend this time.

I did as well and wasn't too fond of it either. Ended up giving it away to a friend. Downtown is great if you like your coffee milk based.

    • Likewise, it was pretty average and unfortunately I bought another bag before trying the first. All of their blends have been stellar until this one.

How’s it a deal when it’s always 50% off? Lol

      Kathmandu tactics.

  • can you stack with the $30 off voucher

I have tried them all I like Downtown the best. I find it similar tasting to allpress expresso blend but not as pricey.

Thought you said Aliexpress expresso for a second.

      • +2

i would be cautious with aliexpress espresso or any food.

Honestly the Moments to Memory deal from Lime Blue is cheaper and I prefer the taste.

    • imo lime blue < aldi

i got it, 1 bag was $5 shipping, 2 bags was $2 shipping.

perfect timing because i am getting low.

    • From the windoooow…

  • Shipping went from $2 to $5 when I applied the code

  • Ahhggg just ordered from them this morning with no discount code…

    • Request a retroactive discount. If they honour it, they may end up with a long term customer.

    • They seem active on Facebook so you might have luck getting a retroactive discount messaging them there.

The lazy daze blend was great for aeropress long blacks and espressos. Didn’t try it with milk based but I’m sure it’s good too.

Quite like Roosevelt, will order some.

  • Any idea how to remove saved credit details?

  • Do these guys do delayed shipping?

    • nope, i tried before and don't see anyway how to now.

    Nice discount,
already feeling the coffee beans price hikes reaching our shores, 1kg (after discount) now over $30/kg

Will stick with LB for now , relatively comparable beans quality

  • Suddenly delivered quickly, was hoping they take their time.

Received this morning, roasted on 12/March.

    • How does it compare to Aldi Lazzio medium roast?

      • +1

Will confirm next week. I alternate between Aldi beans (both Lazzio Medium and their single origins) and Grinders Giancarlo (from Costco), I prefer the later and it is what's in the hopper at the moment.

Last time I had Roosevelt I like it more than Giancarlo, so for me: Roosevelt > Giancarlo > Lazzio Medium, but I wouldn't not buy Lazzio (except Luxe), they are all pretty good, comes down to personal preference and that can change with time.

  • i wonder who makes coffee beans to aldi..

  • Sunset Blvd and Downtown blends are also 50% off now, using the same code.

Do you think the normal price of $62kg is jacked a bit though?

      • +1

Haha, I only order when they are 50% off, but quite annoyed to pay extra for delivery.

The first time I ordered from Inglewood was in 2021, when they did free delivery without minimum spend, I recall $25 for 1kg Sunset Blvd delivered.

Never ordered again until last Christmas, ordered one each: Sunset Blvd, Downtown, Roosevelt for free delivery.

I like Roosevelt so much ordered again this time with $5 delivery. :D

$62 is too much, but there are roasters charging $50+ that never go on sale, granted they are more focused on doing business with cafes than selling cheap to end users.
