Low price for the Viltrox AF 16mm f/1.8 Full-Frame Lens - Sony E-Mount.

I'm waiting for the Sony 16mm f1.8 to drop in price so I can replace my 14mm f1.8 lens. The Sony is smaller and likely more reliable than the Viltrox but for under $500 the Viltrox is definitely a bargain!

Very low price for a good 135mm 1.8 lens.

I already have the Sony 135mm but dsamn that price is tempting copmared to the Sony (around $2k)

From reviews the Viltrox is close to the Sony optically but notcably bigger and heavier with worse AF.

          Yeah mine has not shipped (FF), although I expressed my strong feelings politely and insisted on it getting escalated so they now say they estimate my delivery around end of Apr or first week of may…

        Got my 20mm. It's very good for $120, good build and image quality, AF is fast and silent. If it was a Sony lens it would be at least $600. Great to have viltrox on the market

    LOL, I bought the "Viltrox AF 75mm f/1.2 Full-Frame Lens - Nikon Z-Mount" for my Nikon ZF, but it turned out it's actually an APS-C lens.

    Well, I just got the calling (email)! My 135 f1.8 has shipped! Email didn't show tracking but logged in and my tracking number was found under "Order Shipments".

    I got a shipping notification too, finally. No tracking number though…
    I ordered without logging in so can't find the tracking by logging in. I guess it should sometime this week hopefully!

        yeah, I found the tracking number in the email that has the invoice actually but Australia post doesnt recognise it… yet. I know this from a different order I made with digidirect that was shipped recently.

          I'm currently chatting with them, asking why the tracking number still doesn't work even though it was supposedly shipped last Thursday.

          At first, they gave me the usual "wait a few days for it to register with Australia Post" excuse. Now they're saying it's still sitting in a warehouse waiting to be dispatched — completely contradicting what they said earlier. Now the person on chat isn't even responding anymore hahaha

    I got a email saying my order has been dispatched and another email with the invoice.

    Interestingly the invoice email says 'Tracking Info: Not Found" followed by the tracking number… 😆

    I entered the number into the Australia Post app and it comes up as unconfirmed, but hopefully it will update later today.

    My tracking number finally worked today and says delivery is expected early next week, I paid the additional cost for express postage so I'm not happy with that because they've sent it by regular post!

    FYI if anyone is planning on paying the extra cost for express post it's not worth it.

    I contacted them in regards to why my lenses were not sent to me express even though I paid the extra shipping fee and their response was:

    Thank you for your email, and I apologize for the delayed response. At the time you placed your order, we did not have the item in stock. We have been sending you updates regarding your order status (only after I made contact with them for updates) On April 23rd, we received new stock, and your order was processed for shipping and dispatched on April 28th. It is currently on it's way to your address.

    Please note that express shipping applies only after your order has been dispatched.

    My 135mm just got delivered today too - ahead of its initial estimated arrival.

    At the end of the day, my purchase was a nice to have and definitely nothing urgent. Will I order again knowing the long wait??? I think I could considering how heavily discounted this was.
