Just a warning about the 780 headset.. It's not fully compatible with Windows 8 at this stage. The software that needs to be installed for 7.1 crashes.. And the sound output is really loud under Windows 8 and mic is not detected properly..
A patch is coming out by the end of this month supposedly..
