Don't drink coffee at night, it affects your REM sleep.

Mine keep saying minimum order $1 not reach, although still showing $2.95 for a medium coffee at the order screen… anyone experiencing the same issue?

I just found that cappuccino is the default coffee when redeem offer in App and it cannot be changed. When redeem offer at cashier, it is usually up to the cashier who may or may not let you redeem other specialities like mocha or hot chocolate.

It can be changed by tapping the edit icon.
And yes, hot chocolate is included.

I got my free coffee just now. Mocha with soy milk (they asked what I wanted). They didn't bother with the bar code then entered the barcode number.
The coffee is okay (mocha is a safe bet), but I wouldn't pay $5 for it. Dare iced coffee is cheaper and consistent.

The voucher shows in my account after closing and shutting the app. But at HJ checkout, the voucher doesn't actually work.

I haven't tried to reuse my rewards offer, they did input the barcode when I used it the first time.
Maybe the codes are one use only? My code starts with 61000 and ends with 2623. Has anyone managed to use the coffee offer twice?

The barcode is your HJ membership/customer no. Other offers in your account are with the same barcode.
It is common that a cashier there can not process the barcode correctly. The cashier seems suffering the same slow/glitchy experience as you can feel when order it in App. If the offer still exists in your account, you can use it again obviously.

You're right, my codes are all the same. I might give it a try tomorrow.

Oh I hadn't realise until now the barcode are generic across all app offers since it's your membership barcode!

thanks got 2 out of this, the girl at the drive through cbf scanning the code so I went later in the day for my 2nd coffee XD

I try to keep an open mind but so far I have only had awful coffees at HJs. Maccas make great coffee.

Yeah, very depends on the shop, the one I had yesterday from HJ was fine.

Even at same store, same day - can vary.
Saw staff having their short 'Barista' training yesterday. None looked enthusiastic. Understandably I didn't buy.
