Aussie mags on Google Play are way overpriced compared to their US equivalent.

Having said that, if you haven't already done so, you could sign up for the 14-day free trial, read the mag and cancel. If you subscribe at the end of the magazine's monthly cycle, you could get the current issue and the next month's within the trial.

Cancel and you get to read two issues for free. I think you can only do this once per magazine.

It's got 12 1-star reviews and only 5 5-star reviews for the play store

I believe you will see many more discounts for this mag.
They cannot be getting as many subscriptions as they used to. They used to be the number 1 computer magazine in Australia.
I subscribed for years to the printed version (formally known as PC User), and have recently decided not to re-new my subscription.
They have lost the plot and have no real direction.
It used to be a computer mag, then they decided to increasingly icorporate Mac articles. Fair enough, they're computers too, I told myself.
But then they started to include TV's, mobile phones, media devices, and other devices, even remote control toys!
I believe that most people will buy a magazine for the specific devices that they are interested in. I don't believe that any one type of device can be covered well in a magazine that tries to be a jack-of-all-trades, and this magazine has proved me right.
I put up with many changes to the magazine that I didn't agree with over the years, supposedly due to "customer feedback", but they have lost a 13-14 year customer with this last debacle.
It's a real shame… They used to be such a fine magazine. I use to read the whole issue the day that I received it, and so looked forward to the next issue.
