Just got it on my Amex Explorer Credit Card.

Spend AU$1,500 or more,get AU150 back….(using Amex Card)

Valid for payments made by 08/05/2025 to be eligible for offer.
Offer is limited to one credit per Card to which the offer is saved and only spend on this Card counts towards the Offer.
Excludes transactions where you do not spend directly with your Card to which the offer is saved, online at www.luxuryescapes.com/au or in-app. Offer valid at Australian website and app only.
Excludes transactions made through a third party establishment or payment processor.
Credit is not redeemable for cash or other payment form.
Credit should appear on your billing statement within 15 business days from qualifying spend but may take up to 90 days from the offer end date.
Credit will not be applied to your Card Account if your Card has been suspended or cancelled.
Credit may be reversed if your qualifying purchase is refunded or cancelled.

  Situationally a good deal, for example found a in Bali just over the 1500 mark. Direct from hotel for same period about 800 all up so would assume many marked up prices

  Has anyone received the cash back in previous deals like this for purchasing a $1500 gift card on the Luxury Escapes website?

  The terms do not exclude gift cards purchases.

      It worked fine for me. Cash back was received after purchasing $1500 worth of gift cards. Note that the amex surcharge is an extra $30 on top, so in reality $120 cash back.
