  Note for those that plan to use it at Draculas, they charge an extra service fee ($3.90 per card used to pay, rather than a service fee for the whole transaction).

  Not made clear to me on the phone.

    Their website clearly says $3.90 fee for the total price of a booking. So if it was all made in the same booking I'd be pretty annoyed.

  Quite a number of promotions are priced at $99, which leaves $1 on the gift card. Has anyone found a convenient way to spend remaining $1?

    Buy 100 cards and use the leftovers for the $100 double dollar deal at timezone :)
    Or u can just top up the $1 to your timezone card, no bonus unfortunately but you get to clear the card.

    I just redeemed the card and they told me the actual value on the card is $99. I spent $99.70 and had to pay $0.70 with another card

      It is definitely $100, I don't think merchants know much about the card.

      Did you tried redeeming the card else where and the transaction got denied ? Read somewhere they were charging 10 cents -30 cents if the card is not redeemable

        That is purely a scare tactic to prevent you from finding out too much about the cards.

        the 10c fee for declined transactions was removed from the terms/conditions. Presumably due to all the issues.

      If you check Get My eCard app, it shows the transactions and remaining balance. It's definitely $100. Mine shows a balance of $1 after spending $99 at the Harvest Buffet.
