Hi all, looking for recommendations (and service) to replace a 7.1kw ducted system in a Brisbane apartment. It’s had a couple of recent repairs (yes the repair is still under 3-month warranty but it was for something else). Anyway, the air-conditioner has truly died. One quote we got for a Daikin replacement was over $13K.
Appreciate any recommendations for both a new system and air-cond service. Thanks

I thought this would be a body corporate problem because the ducting is part of the shared infrastructure?
We bought Daikin. Everyone I asked in the electrical or aircon industry said, if was their home, that's what they would buy.
Get another quote, we paid around that for a 14.5kw in a 4 bedroom single level home.

Daikin has the best kickbacks, that is why!
not sure how he will stack up for install quote, but for servicing wise I found this guy very thorough , he recently serviced 3 splittys (2 of which had black mould) and was very reasonable price.
Thank you everyone for your recommendations. We have had technicians in to assess the system and they recommended a complete replacement.
Just get a few quotes on well-known brands with features that you like and compare.
