Harvey Norman less expansive than ebay

But you can fit larger people in an ebay bag, right? :)

    • Not sure but you can zip two together

Is $109 cheap for a sleeping bag? =/
We bought a queen size swag for ~$400.

    • I came across this whilst looking for a sleeping bag for the swag. Its rated to 0 degrees and this limited review looks like people like it..

But $100 for a sleeping bag is very cheap if it works at 0 degrees..

If I'm going anywhere on holidays that gets down to 0 degrees I'm paying for a hotel rather than camping!

The interesting and scenic places don't always hotels…

People don't just go camping because it's the cheaper alternative.

Its like saying "I'm paying for a car so I don't have to ride"

        • It was an attempt at humour. Seesh. Didn't you see the exclamation mark!

I read so much stupidity on the net, I just assumed you were being genuine. I apologise.

I dunno why but I feel this is an ad for this online store…
2 items have been advertised and they are not really bargains, maybe cheaper
    because of free postage.

Agreed. Then again, I avoid anything from HN on principle, because I don't agree with their way of business.

So I might be prejudiced LOL

    • well it isnt, I have no affiliation with Harvey Norman.

I came across both whilst looking at camping gear. If you find better make it known to all…

There's no hood to keep heat in, there's no mention of a baffle running along the zip (to keep heat in), and that cotton outer/inner will provide no warmth if it gets wet.

There's a ton of $100 sleeping bags on eBay. Most have two ratings - the "comfort" temperature, and the "extreme" temperature - i.e. the "wearing thermals and four pairs of pajamas" temperature. Given that this bag has only one rating, I'm guessing Hardly Normal's 0c is the "extreme" rating.

    I don't see this as a bargain.

    • When I last checked there was $40 difference (delivered) Ebay delivery prices have now been updated and basically the same as this. Obviously this is monitored by the stores which is a good thing for us the consumers.
