From my experience you'll end up paying more than going to another mechanic so not much of a saving.

i did exactly this approximately 4 years ago for a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
My tyres are now worn and i'm shopping around for the same deal again but now only have 1 amex left.
They told me they wouldnt match Tempe because it is based in NSW. Did I just get a bad CS or is that normal?
ask to add delivery cost on, in my case $60. provided there is a Tempe fitting partner within 20kg. my pricematch was done within minutes.
how much would 1 tire replacement be? Or do you need to replace 2 even though only 1 is bad?
YMMV but I have had generally a positive experience with a specific mycar franchise. They generally don’t sell random parts/ unnecessary repairs and prices after complimentary roadside are not unreasonably high.
Do they sell gift cards?
