Hi all, I'm about to buy my first console in 20 years, a PS5 Pro.
Currently deciding on where to buy from. assuming same price (no JB-HiFi coupons/vouchers), same availability, same delivery/pick up date.
Is there any reason why I would buy from JB Hi-Fi instead of Amazon? From what I've experienced with smaller items/electronics, Amazon seems to have a better returns policy. JB would be a better pick for warranty purposes perhaps?

JB's warranty is a bit of a hit and miss. Depending on the store, some are super nice whilst others treat you like you purposely smashed the broken device. I guess people do abuse their return policy.
Amazon but jb would be cheaper with vouchers. I know you said you don't really care but still we are on ozbargain.
Unless you need to return it for a refund, where you'll get refunded in JB vouchers
But it's not like you won't ever go back to JBHiFi to buy something and you still will have the discount essentially
Very important - once you find out the PS5 has no games you will want a refund.

Support Australian company and brick and mortar store for easy warranty interactions.
If you know someone who has an account with https://www.australianretirementtrust.com.au/, they offer jb corporate discounts (friends and family). e.g. $80 off a a nothing phone recently, and $15 off a case.
i would prob go with amazon for warranty imo
