Hi guys, can someone advise a good way to buy a Macbook Pro base model.
$2379 is education pricing and I think Bupa can give me 5% extra on gift cards.
Any better deals? Or maybe wait for easter deals?
Please advise?
Thank you

You’re on the right track and that’s usually good enough for most. The extreme version would be:
1) Buy Apple Gift Cards at Woolies when they have an EDR promo on them
2a) Buy MacBook on Education Portal during back to school for free AirPods or whatever the promo is
2b) Use Cashback while purchasing
3) Exchange EDR for Velocity Points
4) Sell Velocity Points
5) Sell the AirPods
6) Claim TRS
7) Include on Tax Return
Good luck!
Google Shopping, sometimes Officeworks has the best deal.
is there any reason you don't want to opt for a Macbook Air?
Fanless? 60Hz Screen? I don't think it make much of a difference otherwise..
Every inch counts.
I really wanted to buy the 15 Inch air because its more than enough for my needs but i have checked both of them at apple store and than at costco to get rid of the led lights that these showroom use to create false illusions. Both the speaker and screen on pro is just better and I have checked several youtubers who are normal and not shills. Macbook pro base is more than enough for the average person. If u need more space use ssd externalz because any upgrade should not be done. If u upgrade space or ram just get the pro chip one at that stage.
Get apple GC from ww / coles. Or ozbargain classifieds
They are basically 10% off
Send me PM if you need help.
Can you share a link on where the giftcards are 10% off at Coles / WW?
Buy second hand.
